Clicking back and forth between Hook on Freeform and HBP on SCYFI-and Maggie Smith is in both! I had that on for my son to watch. I LOVE that movie and also her in that role. It's so different from anything else I've seen her play in. Still, my favorite with her is the Potter series. Ooo. But as Lady Grantham (however it's spelled) that's another good character she plays very well in Downton Abby. …. OK. I was going to ask this last night. I know Erin and her gang are Star Wars fans. We went to see the most recent Star Wars movie. I'll post no comment on it except to say I loved it. Things happened in it that I never saw coming. I saw no spoilers from the internet and very few interviews on TV before going. Any Star Wars fan has to go see it. YES.... our Flitwick played a part in it. So, there you go. However, that was not the comment I was going to comment on either. I've been thinking IFFFFFFFFF...… there are any Star Wars fans who is here. I want to talk about a couple of things about the Mandalorian. But I need to know if anyone else HERE are watching the brand new Star Wars tv series that just finished season one on Disney plus besides us? I might just start a new thread of it's own if someone else is watching too. () All I really want to say, is that I don't really believe that a certain character that the WHOLE internet seems to think is a certain person.... I don't really think it is. It's too easy. Also, there are discrepancies. Still, that's for a chat on another thread if anyone knows who I might be referring to. Oh by the way, keeping in tune with THIS thread, The Mandalorian has only 8 episodes so far each less than an hour long. On one of the episodes, I recognized one of our Harry Potter ladies through her makeup. Even though she didn't have hair. LOL. Tonks.

We still haven't seen the new Star Wars movie! Aidan saw it with a friend, but the rest of us still have to go! We don't have Disney+, so haven't seen the Mandelorian, either. I was just telling Paul at dinner, that we have to go see the movie while it's still in theaters!

Erin One thing I will say, just so you would know, if you guys have not seen one, then you won't have to worry if there is any connection storywise between these two elements. Each stands alone. In fact I actually sat down and watched the more recent Star Wars original three movies when they had them on TV the other day. This time I didn't multitask by getting on my computer or crochet or playing any word game while I had the movie on in the room. I wanted to watch certain characters connected to everything new. There barely were little nuances I had not noticed before that made sense. Nothing really of relevance though. Anyway, I do hope you guys get to go see the movie soon. There's big reveals I never saw coming. You'll love it.

Well, the other day, stumbled across a movie on telly. It was 'Get Santa' with Jim Broadbent!! Such a cute movie, I enjoyed it! @jb Rockus My daughter was obsessed with santa movies while she was growing up. That's one I don't think I've ever heard of. I'll have to tell her about it or look it up so we could watch it. Thanks. ..... My son and I like to watch a show on Saturday nights called Svengoulie. This guy hosts old supposed to be horror movies or are the original vampire, Frankenstein films. Anyway, tonight I was surprised there was werewolf movie that had a very young Michael Gambon in it. The movie's called, " The Beast Must Die." I know they said in Prisoner of Azkaban that Dumbledore had a reason he had a soft spot for Lupin to go that far to help him be able to attend Hogwarts. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw THIS Dumbledore's past he spent some time as the creature.

Just watched a really good special about Love Actually 20 years later. Reminded me of our discussions here about it and the HP actors in it-Snape, Trelawney and Scrimgeour!
