My new Entertainment Weekly magazine came and there's an article about the new movie Malificent. I looked at the pictures and there were three ladies who played ""pixies."" Amd guess who one of them was-Imelda Staunton! Can you just imagine Umbridge dressed up as a pixie? OH that cracks me up!

Just saw Killing Your Darlings starring Daniel Radcliffe.. BRILLIANT movie and a masterful performance. This movie may not be for everyone so please take a peak at the reviews prior to going out and renting this movie. It is based on a real life story too. Speaking of another questionable topic movie with Harry Potter characters in the major rolls, Duddahs saw the trailer for CGBG starring Rupert Grint... Looks gritty but again, some questionable content. Then just last night while watching another movie, Neville Longbottom popped up in a trailer with a strange scene. Duddahs will have to do more research on this one too. FYI, Neville has gotten tall! I mean TALL and his body is shredded like a swimmer. Now how did he do that? No more plump, sweat Neville Longbtottom for us. It is called Bluestone 42 and the life story of George Takai.

Oh I hope you can Duddahs, and that you will let us know what it'l like. I think it's cool that Dan is doing plays as well as movies, really trying to further his acting career in any way he can. On the bus to Boston (from there we fly to Austin) they played a movie of The Secret Garden, one of my favorite stories. Mrs Metlock was played by a younger Maggie Smith-I had never seen or heard of this version so was very excited!

Funny. Here I come in looking for this thread and when I found it I realized the post I'm about to make is not really a film but a TV series with some of the Harry Potter actors in it. We've been doing this all along with other tv shows and now I see Duddahs comment about Dan's new play... Cool. Good luck Duddahs! I guess I might need to tweak the name of this thread to encouperate all mediums. .... There is a tv show that I have yet to find playing here in the US. Oh, it's called "Spooks" over on the other side of the pond, or in most countries of the world. From what I'm finding they have renamed it "MI-5" over here because it's not a nice word over here in the US. Anyway, I've watched a very short season one the other day. Then most of season two. I am guessing even though I've found ten seasons of it that it's no longer filming. If anyone knows anything different, please let me know and I'll keep looking to see if it might begin airing over here at some other time of year... The first Harry Potter actor I saw in one episode was Minister Fudge... I think his last name is Hardy.. can't remember for certain. Then I clicked to watch some of season seven this evening. They have lost a lot of previous cast members and a bunch of new ones. However, it seems that Madam Pomfrey is a regular in this season. It's cool to see her play a serious role and in something more up to date. Another... if my memory serves me correctly, the guy who plays Pyas Thickness on DH is also a guest actor in the episode I'm watching now. It's going to take me forever to get through ten seasons of this show as I come across them from internet searching. Not all episodes can be found. Here I want to keep watching these in unison and found the I'm very interested in the second episode of season seven only to find that it seems to be the only one missing from most places I've looked. Anyway, I'm in no hurry to watch it all at once. Nothing really seems to be good on tv much during some nights a week. At least I'll have something like this to fill the void. I'm still wondering about the Sherlock series if they have cancelled that show as well. I guess I'll have to go digging for answers and hope to find them. Anyone interested in spy tv shows, might like this one. I find it very interesting seeing things from other countries perspective when all I seen before this show was mainly through the eyes of americans. It's a real eye opener.

The other night one of my old favorites, My Left Foot, came on tv. It's the true story of painter Christy Brown,he had cerebral palsy and learned to paint with this foot. I notice on the credits it said Fiona Shaw and I said I think that's Aunt Petunia. It turns out she played the teacher who helped Christy with speech therapy. She had really short hair and was very smiley, I'm not sure I would have recognized her. I've watched this movie several times and never realized Aunt Petunia was in it.

Has anyone gotten a chance to see the movie with Rupert Grint in the secondary role? I can not remember the name off hand but was trying to figure out what it was so I could rent it from Netflix. Also there is another movie with the actor who played Neville Longbottom Matthew Lewis. I believe it may be a military based movie.

I'm not sure, but if you look at Wikipedia under the actor's names, and scroll down, they list all the movies, shows, etc. that they've done. That might help you. Erin

Duddahs was sitting home waiting for the mason to show up to work on his new side walk in front and leading to his front door.
Kathie Lee and Hoda were on and Kathy Lee made a statement about Dame Maggie Smith, she called her Craggy Maggie... With that the TV channel was switched to another show.

Netflix sent me The Grand Budapest Hotel and I watched it last night. Tons of stars we all know and love.
The main character though was Voldemort himself, Mr. Fines... He was brilliant as usual. The movie is hilariously quirky and off center. If you enjoy left of center, screw ball fun movies with a message, this is a must see.
