Just to let all of the Snapettes know, that I don't really plan on lurking this thread... it was rare for me to do that over at the WB. Whenever I did, I was lost since I really didn't know your group unless you posted elsewhere over there often. However, I DO lurk the "20 most recent posts" link, located at the bottom of the front page. So, if a post is made here, it will show up there until someone else bumps it down by posting on another thread. Anyway, I plan on giving you all your privacy. I don't want you guys to think that since you are here, that I'm lording over.

Side note: we sort of have a thread where the rest of us talk off topic... anything.. much like this one. It's the Head Table over in the rp section. I think I have that one there because I might have it hidden unless you are signed in. All of you are welcome to post there or anywhere on this site for that matter.

Whoa...haven't been on the Pottermore website in a few months and was all discombobulated. They've changed things all around. If anyone would like to add me there, my username is CrimsonDragon49.

On a side note...what does the Exalt Smite thing do under our avatars?

They are Karma points. If you wish to give a karma point to a friend then click exalt then you can see the points go up one number. Honestly, only once have I ever seen anyone ever smite someone on this site and that was a lonnnng time ago. I have it set at one time every 15 minutes.. I change that from time to time.

I'm not sure if you are already on my pottermore friend list over there. i'll have to go see.

I'm getting ready to sign off her after I make this post. Hubby wants to take me away from the house for the afternoon. hubby's been giving me the evil eye for being online all weekend. LOL

no worries. I don't think anyone would notice right now anyway. LOL.

I give them out in abundance. Mostly for the next person who posts while I am here... or when I see someone who had posted last right before I get here.. Or if someone says something I think is cool. Then we have members who have never or hardly ever award anyone points. As for my last comment.. we had a brief member who was spamming my pm box every time I turned around. Never posted but once or twice..

edited: didn't get to finish my post yesterday...


but that person got mad and gave a smite to someone. Right now, I don't ever recall who they did that to. At the moment, there is no way for me to see that info anymore. Proboards had recently revamped their sites and that was a loss. OH well.

I do hope anyone who reads it will critique it and maybe even enjoy it. If you don't, please let me know so I can learn from my errors and hopefully improve..

OK. I just looked over there. The thread might be named Short Stories. I am shocked that I didn't place mine over there from all of Willows prompts. I am actually proud of my Snape story and I just noticed it's not there. Ugh. Now some digging on both of my computers to see where I have them saved.

Maybe from now on, we ought to make a separate thread for each story... short one shots or full feature length? What do you all think?  This way commenting would be much easier to do on specific stories.

I love Snape FF so I will def be checking them out. I've written quite a few Twilight and Vampire Academy ff, but never braved the world of HP. JKR did such an amazing job...I was just too intimidated to try my hand at it.

Yeah I figured it out now. At least it automatically takes you to the end instead of having to scroll through. That's what I liked about the boards, how they were on top. It's not too much of a hassle here though =D Some websites you actually have to scroll through everything.

LOL! I know what you mean. And here we have a LONG front page to choose from. So I tried to find shortcuts to make things easier.

Within the past couple of months Proboards did a make over to revamp what all will be available to us. SO, even our older members are still learning SOME new things and how things are working a bit differently.

I created a thread to help everyone know. I usually add to it once a week.
