I guess my issue is that I am pursing publication with them so, as writers are, I'm a little paranoid. Maybe if I have one I'm not pursing I will post it on here. =D Still want to get some fan fiction up. I miss getting to write without the pressure of publication =D

Ok... No problem. I'll leave that section as it is. If there comes a time where you want to go ahead and post something you want to keep out of the eye of the lurkers... or the public. Just let me know and I'll cloak that area all together.

Oh and one of our less active members asked to post some non harry potter stories a while back. I created a sub category just for that. The only thing I told him, is that everything here has to be kid friendly and to be honest... I have a profanity filter that I set up years ago. So, if something you have in there that might be altered, it might be caught by that filter. And just for relief sake. I also have the entire site set to have no time limits on editing. So, if you look back weeks later and see something you wish to change... It's possible. And for the sake of saving my staff and my behinds... any edit made will have the name of that person... even if it were you... and the timestamp of when that edit was made. We can't take that notation off the bottom of the post like we could over at the wb.

Still.. we look forward to having fresh stories to read.

OK, I made butter beer this morning. It's pretty good, but I would recommend adding 6 tbs of butter instead of 4 and cutting the rum extract by half (it has a very overwhelming flavor). I'm going to do this for the next HP marathon and print out butter beer labels for the mugs.

I kinda expected that since they didn't join back before the WB posted their message, that they might not poke their heads in here much until the WB finally does delete their site. I mean, why meet here if they can still post over there? Which is basically, what this thread is for... a back up meeting place if you all still want to post on a forum... not facebook.

Still.... everyone is welcome to post whenever you all like.

(I'm pretty much having a hectic week. I'll pop in on this site as much as I can... but I'm not holding my breath.)

Hope you have a far better week Miss Charlotte, and it would be nice for those lovers of Snape to pop in once in a while..

Duddahs knows that Erin and he are here often and post on many different threads, pretty much multi times daily. Miss Charlotte does as well and we are graced and blessed to have both JB and NZ stop by frequently and go on posting spree's. Fangsfan1 is here often when she has a working computer. I read on the WB that she is waiting for her new computer to be fixed and is only able to get online by borrowing a friends computer.

duddahs, this is a lovely site and i enjoy popping in to say hi to dear friends here. i like to stay in touch! there are some friends i made at the snape boards who i wish would have stayed in touch, but such is life. there are a number that are still in touch, though!! fans of HP and/or snape. :)i like to keep that going, friendship is a thing to be cherished!

Of all the Actors and Actress' in the Harry Potter movie series vs the characters from J.K. Rowling's original books, I feel that Alan Rickman was the most trans-formative of the character.

Duddahs always considered the print version of Severus Snape's character to be very intense and complex.

Alan Rickman brought on a greater enhancement of those complex, intense and often confusing characteristics.

Duddahs feels that Rickman also created a much more sympathetic character of Snape vs the printer form of Snape.

What do the other Snape followers feel about this perception?
