Yeah... for my son, his hearing is quite keen. So he really keys into voices then brings that to my attention. It just seems funny to me to think of Dumbledore running around singing. ;D

Yesterday afternoon I watched a movie called Freedom Writers. It's a pretty good movie. I never heard of it before I turned on that channel. www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi3634888985/Any way, it has Imelda Staunton (Umbridge) playing a watered down version of Umbridge. Not cruel, like in the HP books but still, not understanding to the students at hand. She's not the main star, but has an important role she's playing.

I just finished watching a film called Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. I have not seen it but once and so long ago that I didn't remember that there were Harry Potter actors in it. I did remember Robert Deniro in it as the monster. I was surprised to see that Lockhart married Bellatrix. He had a mentor of Nearly Headless Nick and an old professor of Cornelius Fudge. How funny is that? ;D
Well, I think you know what I mean. ;D

The other day the Tom Sawyer movie I had seen as a kid came on-with Johnny Whitaker as Tom. I left it on for a few minutes and got a surprise when the opening credits came on. Music Director-John Williams!

Snickers... DUddah really needs to backread this thread. LOL... little secret sneek. OK... that is it! Where is the remote? Ah... gotcha. The Avengers I'm sitting here typing up a post while I also have my television on mute. I look up and see Voldemort wearing a black derby hat and carrying a closed umbrella. He's all dressed up in his nice duds too. He begins to fight some guy walking down the road... thenthe next guy.. and a lady pushing a baby stroller throws a pair of knives at him? WHAT? THen the next thing I see Slughorn talking on a red telephone. The next time I look up Voldemort is sitting buck naked in a steam room while reading a newspaper that covers up... cough. I had to find the remote. I"ve never heard of this movie but this is weird. ;D Ahhh... much better now... A nice buttoned up vest over a white long sleeved shirt. Ooo a red tie too. I'll bet he is wearing shoes too... shivers.. I hope so he has some nasty toe thing going on there in GOF. edited to add: Now there is a blind Aunt Petunia playing crochet not sure how to spell it.. but she's playing it with Sean Connery. I wonder who else is in this weird film?

I went to see this one yesterday. I could not wait. See, I've been a huge fan of the original Movies series for ages. I even am a fan of the version that had Mark Walburg and Helena Bonham Carter (our Belltrix) They did an excellent job with this one as well as for the one I'm posting about here today. They had their own unique take on things from the original movie series.. This one really gave me goosebumps too. All I could do when I left the theater was say.. WOW.
OH and in THIS clip, you might catch a glimpse of Tom Felton. I knew he was going to be in it, but figured maybe in one scene... Nope... he did play a minor role, but did a superb job. We do see him several times. Glad to see another from our main HP cast make it up on the big screen in another major film. GO TOM!

Really will be looking forward to seeing this one but have to get all sorts of friends, family and work things out of the way first.
So was Tom Felton in the movie for real or just a cameo role?

He actually had a real part. In fact today while I was tending to my kids over at their dad's house, he called me from the theater (hallway) in the middle of the film just to ask me if that was really Draco Malfoy. Hehad been trying to place him the whole time when things finaly clicked. ;D
But I do have a tip if you go see it. At the end when they begin the credits, don't get up just yet. See, they will be showing something more that leads up to the next installment. Poor guy sitting next to me was already on the steps when he looked up and noticed the movie was showing us more, he lost his footing and fell grabbing hold of the chair and me as well. LOL.. But ended up just sitting it out on the step he fell upon. The guy was alright thank goodess.

My husband is watching some movie called "Hot Fuzz" and there was a scene with the actor who plays Argus Filch in it. Very much the same type of character, too!

OK, it is not a movie, it is a Broadway show.
Alan Rickman is on Broadway in what looks to be a hysterical romp not to be missed.
Yep, going to go and get my tickets, PDQ!

I was just sitting here trying to figure out what movie I want to stick in to watch today..... I think you guys made up my mind for me. Right now Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is on. In that film I keep wanting to call Slugworth Slughorn.

There is a new movie coming out soon. It's called Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy. It has our Sirius Black and Ollivander in it. Funny.... I seem to recall a nursery rhyme or something the like with the same words as the name of this film.

Here is the line complete. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor, Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggarman, Thief
