Duddahs, Miss Jen and Monty watched a recent DVD find. It is the Little House on the Prairie Christmas edition. It has only two Christmas episodes, the very first Christmas show from the first year and one from the near the end of the series. They are both wonderful and it was such a joy to watch them all over again. Duddahs had forgotten so much about the series yet it all came rushing back like a good friend. Wow. That was probably the very first book series I've ever read. I remember when I was in 4th grade, my teacher, Mrs. Crocket spent an hour each day where she gave us the choice of quiet time. We could either put our heads down or draw, do homework, whatever as long as we were quiet. All the while she read to the class for the full hour. This was the book series she read most of the year. It was also in it's first run on TV back then. I loved the series, book and TV. (sideways note. My daughter's newest boyfriend's name is Landon. I keep teasing her, saying that he just looks like a Michael to me, that I think I'm going to start calling him Michael. Chris gets it, but she doesn't. I wish AJ could, because he watches Bonanza several times a week.) |

Miss Charlotte, Netflix and Amazon Prime have been very good to Duddahs indeed.
