Boy I do miss that WB smilie pumpkin pie. I wish I knew where to grab those missing smilies to add to my collection so I can post the whole collection here.

OK I'm so excited! I KNEW my brain was not failing me. I KNEW IT!!!!


I found so many things I KNEW I had saved from the old days.


Gosh.... I got to go pee now.


I hate this cause I have to go tend to my muggles for a bit now. Hopefully, I can get those things tended to and a few house elf stuff accomplished as well.


I FOUND the PIE.... the pink milkshake.... all of those Lily Hbp pictures that she posted on our New Quibbler Magazine thread from the WB....


I FOUND ALL of those old avatars from ALL of the many people who contributed to that Quibbler thread as well.


When Willow announced that the WB was closing I went into grabbing EVERYTHING MODE. I didn't care who it was.... I took it. So many people, avatars, smilies, banners MEMORIES!


Guys..... I hope you all don't mind if I do go in and place the OLD WB avatars in our less active members from over there who did follow to join our site here just to have a familiar warm face to greet them with a smile if they do pop back in here. I do have Madame Snape's old avatar too. LOL. Even Dobbysocks. LOL! When I said I grabbed everything that's what I did.


Well, off to the water closet then to tend to my offline things. I have tons to add to here. NZ watch out. I think I'll be adding to your thread listing members too from those days of the wb. people I totally forgot about.


I have to see if I posted/started a thread just for the WB smilies yet too..... (ok... I'm going)

Miss C that is so cool, I would love to see these and have a real blast from the past. Please excuse my ignorance as I'm really bad at this stuff, but is there a way members can look at them or are you planning to create a thread for them?

At the moment since I"ve been doing a lot of cleaning out and throwing away duplicates (which have been TONS of and that's where I've been getting lost and confused. Each time I do a save of everything to a memory stick, they've been added to. I guess I've found the one where I saved the only one that had the WB (everything).

I wish NZ was here. I think it would be fitting to ask his permission to add the avatars for the old WB friends (or rather the old WB members) because some of theme I don't recognize, to his thread here. But he's not around all that often to ask.

I actually thought I had a thread with the WB smileys. I think I added those to this thread. I KNOW I added the ones I did find a while back to that themes smiley listing for those using that theme to use. Maybe I could make a small thread with all of them.... the smileys and the avatars. I'm sure I'll come across more as time goes by. Who knows, maybe some of you might find some and can add to that thread as well. That would be cool.

Right now, I'm literally going to bed dreaming of smileys of all kinds, since I went through ALL of my memory sticks saving ALL of them to a folder on my laptop. I've already started the cleanout, and separating just the Potter ones from the rest.

Next I'll be making myself familiar with my new image hosting site.

Miss Charlotte, Duddahs would love for you to share anything and everything from the WBHP days. Sure bets NZ would love to see them too. You were smart to grab everything you could because it will never come our way again.

How much fun it was though!

Oh I loved every minute of it, from clicking the links daily, to trading cards, to chatting with our friends on the MTC forum! We were among the top-ranked players. I believe I still have some of the artwork from Madame Snape's team that I made...

The night before the premiere of an HP film, boy that was loads of fun, nothing like it. People posting and debating their theories of what certain scenes would look like or be included, waiting to hear from those who managed to see the midnight releases whilst trying to avoid spoilers. It was great to read through all the posts and you could feel the boards buzzing as the posts came in.

I remember posting my first quiz on the Magical Trading Cards board. It was around Christmas-time and I remember always using the [wizard] icon to sign off at the bottom of the quiz post. Fun times and fun memories!

I've been backreading a bit on the site here and a WB memory has popped into mind.

Over on the Hufflepuff house board, a bunch of us set up a Ministry of Magic RP, although it wasn't technically an RP, since it was about things on the board. We all had titles: a Minister for Magic, Co-Minister, Head of Department of Magical Games and Sports, etc. It was a cool way for us to decide how to run things on the board. We even set up a Wizengamot Courtrooms, where we actually voted on things! This was started by a fellow named darkwizard1000, who served as Minister, followed by an individual named dolphin-mad14, and finally myself.

One of the things I was most proud of was over on the Quidditch board. One of the big issues we had was how to RP Quidditch matches and make it feel like an actual game. Through the MoM and DMGS, we collectively devised a set of rules known as the "Board Rules". The basics were that if a Chaser posted that they took a shot, the opposing Keeper has to post that they saved the shot within three posts, or else it was a goal. Same thing for a Beater hitting a Bludger. For the Snitch, the referee posted a time frame as to when they would release the Snitch, and the first Seeker to post after the referee released the Snitch captured it.

Looking back on it now, it was great fun debating the ways we could set this up and the rules. It sure made for some fun battles, both on and off the pitch! One of these debates between myself and Dark resulted in us getting banned for a month! But it was all in good fun.
