Good news, here is the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Wow! Thank you NZ for posting this. I saw this a while back but watched it on my phone. Such a tiny screen to have to see it on. Now I'm on my laptop finally having a good look at it here. I can't wait. It seems like forever until November gets here. It's going to be weird seeing a young Dumbledore. I've seen another more recent trailer showing the flying horses pulling the carriage but this time it was in Paris.

Oh, the excitement is building in the Potterverse once more. Duddahs wonders if the second installment will be as successful as Chamber of Secrets was in the original saga?

FANTASTIC BEASTS 2 Extended Comic Con Trailer - The Crimes of Grindelwald 4:58 Since Comic Con I think was last week this is a longer one with lots more juicy scenes. I decided to post it here in case any of you were interested and had not seen it anywhere else. I can't believe we get to see Nicholas Flamel. LOL! Enjoy.

I have subscribed to Entertainment Weekly for quite a while now and the latest issue was great. Fantastic Beasts is the cover story and there's also lots of stuff about the Potter movies-working with Rickman and Harris directors favorite scenes, and a lot more. Well worth reading and there's also a lot of the same stuff on their website. Nagini was a surprise to me as well-always something new to find out!

Ok...the positions of the 4 main characters concerns me...anyone else see it? It could be nothing...just a way to keep Newt in the center...but shouldn’t Queenie be near Jacob? i63.TP .com/2cs8n5z.jpg[/IMG] Erin

OH goodness. I've got a lot of stuff that I've been holding back posting for a long time. I really was not sure if our Lounger were wanting to discuss theories or not. I spent about a month online just watching tons and tons of youtube videos of different theories... many I did NOT agree with and some I thought were obvious and others I thought were great when it came to what might come to this next film. I also really wanted to only see if I had any that I had of my own that no one else out there had. These was clues only gathered from the then released movie clips and clues JKR would drop in interviews or on twitter. The one about Nagini I really hated and did NOT want to be true. I was sad when I saw the first movie clip that confirmed it to be true. As for the theory that you picked up on about why Queenie is standing next to Grindelwald and not with Newts side. I loved that idea, I wished I had come up with that one. Someone said that he talked her to join his side. She only did because she is tired of hiding. She loves Jacob and wants to be free to do so. To me that's dangerous to have her talents on the other side. Now, all we have to do is see the movie to find out if this theory pans out. … My surprise... people online seem to be surprised to see Nicolas Flamel to be an old man. They always imagined him to be young looking but in actuality be old. I always figured an old frail man like this film. … I have more questions to ask everyone here...… so I WILL drop back by tonight hopefully after Survivor goes off or a little later. I do have to tuck my son in bed. I"m so excited for Fantastic Beasts 2 to come out. I hope you ALL are doing well. I miss you all so dearly.

One thing I've wondered about.... Why did JKR suddenly take down her old interviews all at once? I saved a copy of a lot of them, back in the old days. They are just so unorganized and I'd have to go look for them, but I've seen a lot of them this past year when I've been doing a lot of looking through ALL of the stuff I've saved through the past 15 or so years online. Yes, I have been doing computer stuff here, but not really talking to people.. Just trying to organize my pictures, codes and clean out duplicates of tons of stuff from everywhere.
Anyway, I've noticed when JKR started writing for Fantastic Beasts as well as her Cursed Child she had all of those old interviews gone from the early years. Now if I'm wrong PLEASE help me find the whole interviews. Not just edited quotes from them. Still, both would be much appreciated from me.
What I mean, I posted somewhere here the other day, that I spent weeks listening to youtube videos theories about the next Fantastic Beasts movie. I love so many of the ones out there. Some are good, some crack me up and some are just way out in Loonyville. I'll have them on while I am tending to stuff around the house or to my son. So I've never been far away from the Potterverse.
There were times when they would get so deep in a theory where I would be shouting at my laptop that they need to go listen to one of JKR's old interviews where she reveals this or that... and that would help answer something or make something more clear for them.
Erin, I'm Sooooo glad and thank you very much for posting that JKR's original site is open. I came in here to backread/post and ended up over there poking about for a while that day. It was great going down memory lane. I wonder if she needed that too. Maybe, knowing her, she could be "UP TO SOMETHING?" (say that like snape.) hee hee hee. I wonder if we need to keep an eye out over there.
Anyway, I'm not going to bombard you guys with YOutube theories, I've got my own. I keep saying SHOOT! When someone there comes up with something I want to have as just my OWN theory... like just now... We already know Malidictus cursed lady is now for certain Nagini as revealed in the commercial. I had in MY mind wondering if Credence might be Parcelmouth? I feel he might have been drawn to her in the circus when sees her there and realizes the snake language I theorize they can speak to each other. No way to know until the movie comes out. Now I see the SuperCarlinBrothers just came up with that on Nov 6. UGH! LOL. Well, like minds.
Do YOU guys have any theories? I have more, but I'm not going to hit you guys over the head with them. I want to hear what you guys think?

Weeee! I didn't realize what day it was. Hubby came in yesterday and asked me if I was going to see it. It started yesterday in most theaters around here. I missed the beginning part but that's ok. I plan on going to buy the book here in a couple of hours so I'll know what happens then. <---- Well, not really. I'll try not to say anything that really gives anything truly. You will have to have seen the movie to make sense of my words. Here goes.

I saw the movie this weekend!
Without giving any spoilers, I will say that it was a very good movie. It moved at a fast pace, and did not feel like it was more than 2 hours. There is a lot to process...and a couple of problems...but still quite enjoyable. Let's wait a couple more weeks, and then open up discussion on here.

A few more weeks for more Loungers to see it as well before discussions to open up. I think with Christmas season in full swing, we might be a bit scattered like windy snowflakes right now. If it's still in theater's I'd like to go see the beginning of it that I missed. I read the book (or the screenplay) so I do know what happened, but it's not quite the same. --- Hey you know what!? If it's still here in my little town, I think I'm going to go tonight if I can. Great idea. I'm glad I peeked in here. Thanks Erin.
