I waited until I had a chance to watch it on my PC full screen...and it was worth it! Can't wait until this comes out! Yeah! new things to talk about!!!

I know and it will be different from the other movies because we won't know the whole plot beforehand. Should be great fun to discuss for sure.

Ah phooey. I was hoping someone would bite, wanting to really have some sort of discussion of what we've been allowed to peek at on these previews. For me, it feels good to be excited again for something of the Potterverse that I can't sit still. *sighs*  |

Wow. Erin and Duddahs... I've been looking for all images of this movie that I can and both of these last two are new ones to me. Thanks for posting.  So, does anyone have any questions or thoughts to talk about? What do you hope to see? JKR wrote this movie which means ALL NEW info we never knew before. Any particular creature you hope to see? Did either of these movie clips/trailer spark ANY questions for anyone? OH my daughter went to the movies a couple of weeks ago, and said that she saw they played this movie trailer. |

I thought it would be 3, too! I'm hoping it's because there's just too much stuff to pack into three...and not that they're trying to milk it for all its worth... But judging from the preview I saw last night, it's going to be a good 5 films!

I hope the clips they are showing are all for ONE movie, that when the other films come out we will get a new set of clips for that one only, so on and so forth. I would die if I have to wait until the last film to find out what that black mist is, that looks like it's crawling in some train station or tunnel walls. I think their's one beast mentioned in his Fantastic Beasts book that might be it. I want to look it up. Lethifold? A black cloud that will sneak in your window at night and cover you up. XXXXX on the dangerous scale. Something like that. I used to know that book by heart when I did my Newt adventures.

Here's another thought, before I take off to Pottermore. You say there are five films? For some reason on Pottermore, JKR is telling us all about the other wizarding schools around the world. We know from reading the beginning of the Fantastic Beasts book that Newt traveled the world documenting on all sorts of magical creatures as well as holding other titles in the Ministry of Magic. He really had a huge thing against werewolves, if I am remembering correctly.
From the previews so far, they mentioned Newt being kicked out of Hogwarts against Dumbledore's wishes. So, he's school age during this first movie. When I used to roleplay Newt, I had him going on adventures all over the world. (WB deleted my thread very early thinking I was about to break their rules at the time. I tried setting it up better on a friend's site, but those friends there didn't give it much attention. Oh well.) OK.. rambling... What I'm getting at, could there be a new film for each wizarding school? Can you imagine the fantastic beasts near Durmstrang or the other schools? Imagine a whole film to take us there? Just a couple of thoughts.

The trailer looks great. This movie is opening on a Thursday here in my town-I will be working that day but hopefully in the next few days I'll get to go. At least I'm glad I know it's coming to our theater.

At least I'm glad I know it's coming to our theater. I am hoping to go to the IMAX showing. Hubby is not even interested, but my daughter is. So, I know I need to save up for at least two of us to go. We probably won't get to see it there opening night, however, movies like this I will see it locally in our regular theaters too. I'm already putting money back because still, every little bit helps. I get off work on Thursdays at 6pm, and have the whole day off every Friday. So, it's then or wait until Monday when I get my next day off. Daytime is usually a better price anyway. If hubby says anything, I will say this will count as my Christmas.
