Just got the last DVD for Merlin Season 4.
How disappointing.
All there is on this DVD is the second half of the last episode and 28 minutes of supposed additional footage.
Poo!

I hate numbers! How many seasons were there in all? I am really holding back wanting to comment on the final episode.... other than to say it was sooo good that I had tears. I wish they could have kept going. I would have liked to see so much more... but I know they couldn't.

Duddahs watched the first two episodes of season 5....
OH, Mordrid makes Duddahs blood run cold.... Too calm, too evil, too deceptively good looking and we all know that those are terrible traits shared by a young Tom Riddle...

yeah, i heard some time ago that the BBC were cancelling after the 5th series. such a shame, it was such a good series. at least the DVDs will be cheaper with less epis i think arthur is fit, too. he's an arrogant prat at times, but made me laugh. going to miss gaius most of all, that was such a cool character!

I am now half way through season 5 and do not look forward to the last episodes. I have decided that I am going to get the entire Downton Abbey series via netflix disk by disk the same way that I did Merlin after I am finished watching Merlin. It gives us something to look forward to watching on Saturday eve/night. Duddahs just is not a night owl and once friends have stopped by for dinner and drinks, we tend to all enjoy watching the T.V. outside on the Patio. I have a large flat screen that is brought outside and hangs up about 6 feet above the patio, and I have these wireless surround sound speakers that recharge and can be placed anywhere outdoors. They both were made for being used outside and they have come to good use last year and I am sure once I return home this summer too. So, Downton Abbey it will be... Not sure if I can get into the series that Erin and Miss Charlotte watch, but I think I can easily get into Dexter.... We shall see..

Not sure if I can get into the series that Erin and Miss Charlotte watch, but I think I can easily get into Dexter.... We shall see.. How did I miss this post? This is so funny. Some time back, I rented the last season of Downton Abbey and got hooked. I could not find it anywhere on TV. I figured that it was off season or that I didn't carry the channel that it plays on. (so often I would like to throw something at HBO for moving from movies only into creating their own TV series. I mean, I could go rent a movie anywhere, but to get to see something they personally create is much harder to come by.) Anyway, I even looked for this show a couple of days ago again, hoping that it should be in season by now. Nope. Well, back when I had rented this show and fell in love with it, I found the first couple of seasons for sale at Walmart. So, since I had the money back then, I now have season one. It's still in the wrapper. I saved it on purpose in hopes that my life would eventually chill out for me to have enough time to watch it. Yeah... that and the fact normally extra money comes in spurts... get it while you can I say. I've been eyeballing watching this for the past couple of days. I never knew someone else from here was even interested in this show. OH and I found out that the next season of Downton Abbey starts for us here in the USA in January on PBS. Here's a spoiler of the two new characters and who they are played by: Abbey‘s fourth season will premiere stateside on PBS on Jan. 5, 2014. tvline.com/2013/06/24/downton-abbey-paul-giamatti-harold-season-4/?utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=spoilerscastingsscoopsalertOH and don't forget to tell us once you have finished watching Merlin. I've since recorded over all of the episodes using my dvr. but could not for the last episode. It was too good to let slip through my fingers.

Finally got a chance to watch the final episodes of Merlin.
Duddahs is left wishing the series had continued on with where the final scene led you to believe.
Sad, even though we all know that it would happen, it was still so sad to see.
Loved the fact that the Dragon was in the final episode..
