Just reminding everyone that Merlin is on Hulu online for free. Also, not all of us are caught up on Merlin so please put a WHISPERING  emoticon when giving out information about episodes that others have not seen so far.. Either that or please use the Dark Mark  one that we use for Spoiler Alerts here. PLEASE?  That way some of us can enjoy watching them without having the anticipation put out like water on a bonfire.  |

Uh OH!  Right now I'm reading this from the "last 25 posts made" link. Whomever might be posting spoilers PLEASE please PRETTY pleeeease DO put up the dark mark so that we won't read any further? I"m definately not one who wants to know how things turn out unless I'm watching it first by myself. Nor would I want to ruin it for others. Hmmm? That reminds me... maybe later I can go recheck the rules section for this site, just to make sure that this was added in there. |

jb--some video stores will have merlin for rent. do u have blockbuster in your area? seems like all the other video stores have gone outta business. grandpa---you haven't missed Merlin's secret coming out yet, in case you're wondering. (see above) I taped last nites episode...I'm gonna go watch it. bye!! Well... nothing was given away from this point. Nothing was ruined.. (right now i'm reading this thread backwards) Boy that sounded weird. OK... We no longer have any Blockbusters around here. Sadly they all shut down. Although, I heard that they are now turning into the vending machine trade like RedBox. Giving them competition. I think I heard we might have one in my town. And on the note about what I THOUGHT I missed. Thanks MK for answering my question. Since I made that post, eventually I did gather that Merlin's secret was not completely given up during the last season. Since I have seen (for the AMerican's) the current season up to date. I guess it was just Lancelot who seemed to know... I guess that was something from some earlier episode. Oh and the obvious, Gias. OH and just last night I found that Merlin's season three is out to buy. 30 something bucks. Well.... I can get it for free just watching tv. They have marathons all of the time. Duddah... I have troubles watching anything on Hulu. Back when Cardman was around he tried to get me to watching Hulu. I tried a couple of times since he left and even my new computer has troubles. I seem to keep getting some loop or something. Not compatible with my safety features... something. I have to shut my computer down completely then wait a couple of minutes before I can turn it back on. I'ts just weird. Although I did find a website where I had to rent it for a couple of bucks an episode just to watch it on my computer for a couple of days. It was not Hulu but something else. I did that last year a couple of times. But I wish Hulu did work for me like it does for everyone else. Oh and you have got to watch it. It's only a couple of episodes in so far. You'll catch up soon. |

hey, all!! thanks for the tips, MK, no more blockbuster here now!! and rogers has recently closed, too. hulu only streams in the US, but not a biggie! i will buy series 3, thanks, miss c, for the heads up!!  merlin is on space channel here on saturdays, so i'm not doing without. |

We have Merlin on SciFi but I have the last 5 episodes on the DVR and have not gotten to them yet to see.
That is why I do not want to know what happens in them before I see them, such as when Merlins Secret comes out but now we all know it is at the end of season 4.
Oh Well. Still love the show though no matter what.

actually nothing has been given out that the commercials advertising what is to come in the next episode for each show has not already given away.... so Well, actually the ads give more away than anything has been stated here. The thing I was talking about happened sometime during last season for the americans. I didn't get to see the ending of most of the episodes last season.... so I missed something somewhere. You saw them all already, so you already know how Lancelot found out merlin's secret.. you know more than I do on this note we have been discussing. The commercials for upcomming episodes already give away that someone else finds out... I'll hold my tongue on that... so GO watch what you have recorded so you won't be left behind. No better time than the present. Come to think about it... I fell asleep TRYING to watch the last episode... I should go watch it right now... but.... American Pickers is on.... and Mattie is meowing to be fed... be back in a while |

Hey duddahs are you talking about the last 5 eps of season 3? or is it the first 5 eps of season 4 which is now airing on syfy channel? I promise no more spoilers. I've seen all of season 3, so I know already there was a secret leaked out, (but I won't say what secret since misscharlotte and some others may not have seen them) and right now, syfy has aired the first 5 eps of season 4.
season four titled eps are--
1 and 2-- The darkest Hour parts 1 and 2;
3. The wicked Day;
4. Aithusa;
5. His Father's Son;
Have I told you all how much I LOVE this show? and by the way, I have not seen the last 3 episodes of season four, so I'm looking fwd to seeing those. Yes I do know what happens...I just don't know how or when, yet. And neither do you lot. ;D and, isn't john Hurt just PERFECT as the dragon's voice?

Yeah well, most of that sites members as you know are on Facebook together.
The did not post much anyway there, just the PM service I guess, that and your facebook accounts.
Still a few dribbled in here to check the place out but none really stayed as they were not really posters there or here anyway.
Still, it was kind of fun while it lasted there, and I do miss Madame Snape and Mal being around.
As for a few of the others, I have said it before, and I will say it again, good riddance to bad rubbish... Better Out than In as Hagrid would say.

Wow... How did we get off the subject of Merlin?  Basically, NONE of us are ones to post spoilers. Only things mentioned were what we saw last season (season 3) or in commercials for this season (season 4). Oh and this is not really a spoiler Duddah... THIS season is much better than the rest put together. No Kidding. Go watch and let us know what you think. I still need to finish rewatching the one from the other night.. but that is on my list of things to do tomorrow.  |

even though some of us haven't seen some of the episodes...they are ALL great and this season Four IS best as misscharlotte says!! Well there's one thing I've noticed about the whole series that I'm not too fond of-- I wonder if anyone else has opinions on this subject? Whenever Merlin or anyone else comes near Arthur, they don't exactly bow or curtsey to him as they ought to. They show him respect by calling him SIRE or YOUR HIGHNESS.... Arthur needs to pick his champion. I would LOVE to see an episode devoted to that. |

i've just tucked into series 4 and Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!! you're right, this one is BRILLIANT! it's been keeping me on the edge of my seat and i've hardly started ;D MK, you're right, merlin and all don't really bow, it's more of a half bow, isn't it? but a bow, nevertheless. anybody have favourite characters? mine would be gaius (yes, that's how it's spelt.) he reminds a a bit like dumbledore, older and wiser...and with character! can't help but love merlin and arthur, too. arthur's good looking, to boot, even though he's a pompous you know what sometimes. ;D also love john hurt/the dragon. all of the characters i think suit their roles and all have part of how the stories unfold. morgana, i'd love to strangle her...POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT for all that uther has done for her and that's the thanks he gets? that evil *insert swears here*  |

I'm getting impressed with something these tv shows have started doing lately.
Not only Merlin, but the new show I have been watching called Lost Girl, have had to stretch their their reach to find new magical creatures that are out of the norm. I mean... this post is not giving things away... we here have beenwatching Merlin for several seasons to know what I mean. To me, I think this is cool that there still are many unexplored... unwritten magical creatures that have nearly been forgotten about. I guess the next time I go to a bookstore, I'm going to look once again for one of those encylopedia of magical creatures just to take home with me. So cool. But sad in a way... we seem to have the same magical creatures thrust in our faces over and over again.... why not come up with a new take on old magical creatures like these shows have?
