I wonder if NBC is going to put it up again on their Roster of late season shows.. That is how it was first shown in the US, last year...
It was very well received and I believe it ran from April through the first week of June.
I sure hope it is aired since they do have more already taped from the BBC than what was shown on NBC US.

Did they only show reruns on that channel or did they also have the new season last year?

The first US TV showing of MERLIN was on NBC, before it went into syndication and onto the Sci-Fi channel.
The NBC Series only showed the first years episodes.
Since they are presently showing the Third Season on BBC I hope we will get the second season and then the third here in the U.S.
I have actually never seen Merlin on Sci-Fi... What is worse, I do not think I have ever watched Sci-Fi though I know I get it....

Well, it is official. I am going to have to figure out how to get the repeats of the second season of Merlin from SciFi or buy it. I will buy it no problem if that is my only choice.
The following comes directly from TV Guide Online;
fter a successful summer run on Syfy, Merlin will return for a third season, the networks tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. The next 13 episodes of the series, based on the mythical legends of Camelot, are expected in early 2011, shortly after premiering in the U.K. on the BBC.
Merlin's first season aired in the U.S. on NBC last summer with mediocre ratings, by broadcast standards. The series moved to Syfy for Season 2 this summer, drawing a healthy 1.72 million viewers (an 81 percent increase for the network in the Fridays-at-10pm timeslot) and building a cult following, as evidenced by a well-received panel at last month's Comic-Con.
"We are thrilled that Syfy will be broadcasting the third series of Merlin," series creator/executive producer Johnny Capps says. "The upcoming season will add an exciting new twist to Merlin's ongoing struggle to protect Prince Arthur, as well as thrilling audiences with bigger and bolder action sequences, stunning CGI monsters, mysterious villains and comic fun for all the family."

I have actually never seen Merlin on Sci-Fi... What is worse, I do not think I have ever watched Sci-Fi though I know I get it.... You are kidding? That is one of my favorite channels. I rarely watch the local channels anymore because they just don't have that good of a choice of programing... but then since you said this was on one of them... it shows I need to tune in to them more often to see if they have anything new that might have slipped my notice. I was just mentioning earlier how I fell asleep watching Highlander rerun at about 1am on the syfy channel. Still... other good shows like Stargate was originally on regular network, then when Syfy channel took over, they really put some bucks into the show and it became something entirely different from my point of view... I didn't keep up with it long after that. But there was another show I did... right now I cant' remember what it was.. brainfart i guess. Back to Merlin... We have to wait until 2011?

Oh this kills me... Last year, they played Merlin early enough that I could watch it before work... NOW, I come home... See, I leave my television on while I"m out to make people think someone might be home... So, as soon as I step into my house I see an advertisment saying that Merlin's season Premiere is TONIGHT... but at 9 central. NOoooooo! I'll miss most of it for getting ready for work again.

Thanks so much for the heads up... I have it on right now and I am DVR ng the rest when I have to go back to the Ice Box.
It is beginning to snow very heavily so it is all together possible that the sessions this afternoon may well be canceled. Then I can watch them all!

I'll bet they are getting season 4 in the works. It looks to be too good to cancel this soon. And while I'm here.... Does anyone have a link to the online episodes for season three? I hate the fact that I will be able to watch this show but leave for the last 15 minutes of it. Please don't ruin the ending for last night's... I have no problem watching one a week as long as I watch the majority of it on my tv the night before.
Please help. Meanwhile, I"m going to surf the net to find it in case no one else here has a link. Thanks.
