I woke up in the middle of my daily nap..... I found out that the CSI in Miami was on... I think that is it.. my brain is a bit fuzzy. It has David Caruso (I can't forget THAT guy. He's the cats meow.) Anyway... the bad guy was this lady who had the last name of Potter. Who would have thought a Potter could be a bad guy?

Oh Miss Charlotte, One of the most villainous movie characters of all time was Henry F. Potter played by Lionel Barrymore. It was in the 1946 classic It's a Wonderful Life. Don't you remember, Potters Field?

Oh I remember, I love that movie. And I remember in George Bailey's vision of what it would be like if he never lived, his town was called Pottersville.

MY Harry Potter Deja vu for today....
While I was sitting at the dental office at Childrens Hospital I met a little girl named Ariana. She was very much like the Dumbledore from the books except she was much younger. This got me to thinking.... I don't recall ever meeting or knowing anyone by that name before... then there was this little girl with special needs looking up at me talking to me about my son. Big blue eyes... a curious little thing, but scared when the doctor came near her.
Funny thing... She carried around her favorite stuffed animal that she takes with her everywhere... and has for a long time. It's a skunk that when she squishes it it makes a fart sound. OH I just loved this little giirl. ;D

I forgot to mention..I watch the show "Parenthood" and had to catch up on several recorded episodes. Well, in one of them, a father is reading the Harry Potter books to his son. He got all mad when his ex's boyfriend let him watch Goblet of Fire, when they hadn't finished reading the books together. I had to laugh when he told him "With him, Harry Potter is mine!" LOL

I have never really watched Parenthood but all of my friends watch it and love it!
I am not sure, but I believe something else I watch is on opposite it. That is a great storyline though. Wish I had seen it.
Just got a Blown Glass Owl that looks like Hedwig from one of my students today... It is so cool. I have a feather tree with Antique and a few newer blown glass Christmas Birds that clip onto the branches. This will fit right in with them.

I've spent the last two weeks at work, working on the grocery side of the store.... well a couple of exceptions on the GM side. Well, the other night they allowed me back in my usual spot. I"m having to become reaquainted with where they are moving the merchandise and having no problems at all. So, my mind has been on my work as usual. Then all of the sudden I look across the top of the isles trying to see a co worker who was working in the electronics department. What did I see? VOLDEMORT! No kidding. They moved the DH2 cardboard display during the Christmas season. I thought they took it down but instead they put it on the other side of their department. I had to crack up laughing because Voldemort was the person I had least on my mind at the moment. ;D

This one is a triple hitter.... One.... first I'm watching Ghost Hunters International. They are in Ireland investigating a possible haunted castle... The Dejavu number one... it's called the Woman in Black. Same as the film Dan is currently starring in that will be released in a couple of weeks. It's a period film and has him in a castle that is haunted by a Woman in black. Cool... I wonder if the book the film is taken from is based on this particular castle? Two.... Back several years ago, I used to RolePlay as a made up character that I named Rose Malfoy (the sn was LadyNAPortrait.) One of the ghosts in this castle is of a little girl named Rose. Three.... This little girl named Rose had been witnessed in this day an age by another little girl playing in the castle. She said she was running in through the rooms and ran to look out of one of the castle windoows. She heard a noise then turned to witness a little girl dressed in a brown dirty dress and who was also standing in the fireplace. The ghost smiled and waved to the little girl just before she dissappeared. How cool is that ? I wonder if this little girl read Chamber of Secrets and knew of the floo network? Well.... who knows... Maybe she really DID see a ghost girl. I've always been one with an open mind. Sceptical at first but willing to except what really might be.

Wasn't sure wear to post it but I had a Harry Potter dream a few nights ago! The wizards had graduated from Hogwarts and were going to a wizard college. It seemed to be mostly Harry and Hermione, new teachers except that McGonagall was teaching one class that they never could find the way to. The college was huge with all these long corridors and they were having terrible trouble finding their classes and kept missing them and coming in late. Then I remember Harry kept missing his assignments and not being prepared for class because they weren't done. They had an assignment to write an essay about one of their heroes-Hermione was reading hers and it was very moving and brought tears to everyone's eyes. Then when she finished, the professor gave her just a so so grade and said "You're going to have to work a lot harder here you know.." On one of my favorite shows, Top Chef,, the contestants had surprise visits from their mentors and had to tell how they had helped them and everyone got to crying. It was the night after I watched that show I had the dream so I think that may have triggered the part about Hermione's essay. Anyway it was fun to have a HP dream-haven't had one in a long time.

Oh I love harry Potter dreams... Glad to know some still have them. I had a Survivor one the other night... freaked me out that I could not go back to sleep for a bit afterwards. ..... My Harry Potter Dejavu. Yesterday afternoon, while sitting in the Doctor's Office waiting room... I was flipping through a copy of the "US" magazine... Nope, they didn't have a single old copy of the Quibbler... shame... Anyway, I wondered if I was going to come across anything from the Harry Potter world in there. Funny, they showed an article with several stars who owned pigs. Reese Witherspoon (in my mind, she's my Narcissa when I write) she's had a pig. Also Rupert Grint. HE too has one. Who'd a thought... he likes Ice Cream trucks and pigs? I love this guy. ;D

My sister and I are getting ready to go to the South by Southwest music festival in March.I am doing a lot of research on several websites looking up the different bands that are coming. I logged on the other day and the first comment I read was saying they wished they had Hermione Granger's time turner because there are so many things to try and fit in. I got such a kick out of that!
