Another great moment-seeing baby Norbert for the first time on film.

Oh one of the things I loved about that scene was when Norbert hiccupped then Hagrid's beard caught on fire. LOL. Wow. That was funny. Glad his beard was ok afterwards.

Oh I just LOVE it! HE's so adorable. Thanks Duddahs. (Oh... you just reminded me of something my SIL just told me yesterday. As I mentioned over at the Head Table thread, my FIL just passed away a couple of days ago. Well, that was really my hubby's step father, his biological father is still here. Well, SIL just told me, for an inside joke, she has it all set up that on their biological father's headstone - when that day comes, she has it planned that at the bottom of the inscription it will read "dragon keeper" owing to the fact that he stuck with their step mother who was a very horrible woman. This is so out of character for my SIL to do, that I had to laugh.)

A moment in time for Duddahs; that awe struck feeling and complete infatuation with the scene where Harry stays at The Leaky Cauldron. Loved his dismal room and even more loved the scene with the housekeeping witch when she opens the door to announce she was there. That response never seems to tickle Duddahs talons.

I recently rewatched COS and thought of a great moment in time. I had read about mandrakes before the series but got a great kick out of how they were used in the series. Loved my first sight of the mandrakes being pulled out of the ground squealing and poor Neville passing out.

Makes me want to tickle their little tummies. Can you imagine a mandrake that would laugh that hard?

Great picture Duddahs, love the look on Ron's face too. I wonder what kind of a sound it would make if they laughed, would you still have to cover your ears?

One thing I loved in the first book was how all the portraits moved. This was fun seeing for the first time in the movie, I think the first one we saw was Dumbledore in the frog cards.

I love when we first saw Dumbledore at the beginning of the first movie. Right now, I can hear the little tinkley bells they chose for the music. Then Dumbledore used his out putter. Then McGonagally in cat form is seen in the shadow. Wow! Who could ever forget that?

Oh that's a great one. I loved Richard Harris, he made DD seem just a little mysterious but he was also kind of twinkly at the same time.

That's the way I always imagined Dumbledore when I read the books. Well, I always imagined him being stylish, but not wearing all of those pounds of clothes. However, not like Gambon either. He to me, seemed to look like he was wearing his fancy night shirt. Hmmm? Let me see, what else was a happy moment from the films? You know, right now I have Thanksgiving in my mind since it's a few days away for American's... I noticed they don't have any at Hogwarts, but they do have the Christmas feast. Seeing Hagrid drag in the trees and Flitwick decorating them. That's one thing I missed was seeing those smaller, closer gatherings for Hogwarts Christmas feast that was in the books. I wanted to see Snape pull the Christmas cracker and.... what was it? A hat like Neville's grans? Just imagining Dumbledore wearing that woman's bonnet during their meal... OH my am I imagining things or what? I think I might need to reread those parts soon to correct my memory. I think I'm off.

That was so sad though. For me a great moment was watching the Dragon racing after Harry in GOF. I know I know... that really only happened in the movie, but what a scene!
