Here it is... That seems like a pretty cool tradition, leaving on the boat as you arrived as a 1st year. So symbolic in so many ways! I wonder what other graduation traditions Hogwarts has? I love that idea. I agree it would have been a weird thing to have show them at the end of book seven... still, she could have showed that happening from one of the other years... like for instance year one, having Harry and company look over only to see those who will not be returning next year get into the boats. I've always wondered what they did to celebrate the end of Hogwarts for those leaving forever. So cool. Thanks for posting guys.

Ok... I'll jump in here with the Wizards Snowman for Hogwarts... I like the idea of having contests to see who could create the best Hmmmm... Dumbledore snowman?

Here's another along that same line... Create a Hogwarts Teacher section of snowman. Can you imagine how they would dress Snowman Snape? Or Snowwoman Trelawney? LOL Or Snowman Hagrid!

Hmm?
Wizards Snowman....
What about those extremeists? I mean, I have seen some incredible ice sculptures of creatures. Can you imagine the recreation of the Dragons for the Triwizard tournament this time made all in snow?
(yeah... I have dragons in my mind right now in a huge way.)

Those sculptures sound pretty cool. I'm sure magic would make it much easier to sculpt them, and they'd probably look even more cooler!
Imagine having them on display on the grounds of Hogwarts or enchant them so that they don't melt and place them all over Hogwarts.

Hey, it would even be cool to see all the statues, figures, sculptures in Hogwarts get converted to ice/snow sculptures for the winter!

Those are truly great numbers. I really enjoyed the posting spree, this was the most I ever go to participate. And it was fun having a theme, it gave us a lot more ideas for posts I thought.

You're both right Fangsfan and Duddahs. This was our best and most fun posting spree, I think, we've ever had. It was so much fun to post, especially in this thread, and imagine new things that we've probably never thought of before, like wizard snowmen!
Thanks again for all of your help everyone!

That's a good one NZ. How about an offshoot of that band-The Marvollo Seven?

A conversation with Duddahs on the Thought for the Day thread gave me the idea that it might be fun on this thread to think of gifts the Dursleys might send Harry for Christmas or birthdays.
How about one uncooked string bean?
