Ooo I remember one! Well, if it was not his birthday gift it was a Christmas one. I THINK the sock that Harry stored the broken piece of mirror in was one of Uncle Vernon's that was given to him as a gift.

Favourite HP movie scenes:
The scene where Fred, George, and Ron rescue Harry from the Dursleys in COS. I remember seeing that scene in the theaters and thinking about how cool it was.

Favourite HP movie scenes:
The duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore in the Ministry of Magic in OOTP. I think the film and special effects crews did an excellent job on that scene, given how well and intense the duel was portrayed. I think it's also a critical scene in the film and book series, as it marks Voldemort's public return
