Ooh..I loved so much about the first episode this season! No spoilers, here...I will just say that they are bringing story lines together very nicely! And I caught a couple of HP tie-ins!

Ooh..I loved so much about the first episode this season! No spoilers, here...I will just say that they are bringing story lines together very nicely! And I caught a couple of HP tie-ins! Let me know when you are ready to discuss! Erin We had a free HBO weekend last weekend and didn't know it until late Saturday night right before bedtime. SO, I did set it to record the second episode of this season and watched it. I tried looking over the guide to find out what happened during the first one you are mentioning here. I missed a lot during that one. LOL. So many people I thought were dead are not and now I'm scratching my head. Oh well. LOL. I'm ok with it. It makes for a better story. Anyway, so the weekend is over. Won't get to see next episode. When you all are ready to talk. Don't mind me. I'm anxious for spoilers. There's no telling how long it will be till I get watch this season. I'll have to live through this thread. So, make it juicy guys once all of YOU are ready that is.  |

I'll just tell you about the HP tie-ins...they're not really spoilers... 1) We knew Jim Broadbent was going to be on GOT...and we got to see him in both episodes so far this season. He is a maester at the citadel, and is guiding Sam in his learning..much the DD does with Harry. 2) Sam wants to find information, and is trying to get into the "restricted area" of the library...  Those were fun to watch! |

Me!!!! So exciting/nerve-wracking, waiting for next week...it's going down, and we know not everyone will make it out...  I'm not happy with Dany this past episode...they're making her out to be very throne hungry here...but Sam had a point last week when he said to Jon..."You gave up your crown for your people...would she do the same?" I mean, she's never been my first pick for the throne, but now I'm putting her even lower... Just how far can Bran see into the future? If he can see everything, can he change the outcome? Is that why he's giving them advice? CAN the outcome be changed, or is it inevitable? He IS memories...but can he "remember" the future? Arya was killing me in so many ways this week. And Tormund...he has the best/worst pickup lines!!! I love Jamie and Tyrion together again... Sansa is proving to be quite smart! Those are my quick thoughts.... Erin |
