Wow, good to see you can catch up soon. I'm watching the current season now. It's only a couple of episodes in. It seems to be pretty good so far. (I still have a problem with certain scenes, so I won't watch it during when the show is airing for the first time. I have to be able to fastforward through the rough stuff.) I do like that Dany seems to be starting over. For some reason there's several different shows that I am watching, where my favorite characters seem to become over the top and need taken down a notch or two. Looks like this show's doing it right. Sad thing for me, I think I only have about a week or two left before we lose HBO. I guess it will be around this time next year when I get to rent THIS season.  |

I just read that Jim Broadbent...our own Prof. slughorn will have a big role in the upcoming season of GOT! No news on what that role is, but I'm so curious!

Erin After I saw him play Slughorn and doing so in such a different way than how I saw that character from reading the book, I finally said Broadbent is a really good actor. I've seen him play all sorts of roles now. Whatever they have him play.... good guy or bad guy, I think he'll do a great job in this series. OH does anyone know when the season begins? |

Duddahs and Miss Jen have watched episodes 1 & 2 along with half of episode 3 of season 6 on Netflix tonight. Best season yet!
Also found another Great series Taboo on FX. Season 1 and now up to episode 3. A very deep and intriguing series developing.
Duddahs also suggest the first year series The Crown as well.

It will be very hard to wait until the end of June! They're doing that because winter has now come, and they needed more time for it to be winter where they are/were filming.

If that's the last episode you watched...you missed a few of the end of last season! That was episode 4 of season 6...there were 10 episodes. If that's where you left off...you're in for a ride for the rest of the season! Usually the new season comes out in March, but this year, it's not until June. They needed to wait to start filming until it was more wintery weather...because...winter has come! Erin |

Netflix is now showing this series? I know that episode was the season finale.... or I thought so. Hmm? Recently, we turned off all of our movie channels. The other day hubby tried to turn Netflix back on but was having trouble. So, just now, I poked him into trying again. Six more episodes sounds good.  |

Oh no! Duddahs and Miss Jen are a year behind you Erin! It was so sad when the last episode of the year we just watched came to a close. Duddahs is actually considering subscribing to HBO next year just to be able to get a two year fix between Netflixing this years episodes and thus watching the new year to come as well.
Duddahs is loving Taboo on FX in the mean time.

Wait! How many seasons are there total so far... to be completely caught up?
Our income return tax came in last week, so I've hardly been home to do much watching. That and plenty of company and other things to tend to. I completely forgot to look it up on Netflix. We were having trouble getting Netflix reinstated, but that's all taken care of now. I might could get some watching in today. (knock on wood.) I already added this show to my watch list.
HEY! Guess what? My daughter has been spending some time over at her friends house recently. She said that they were watching a Game of Thrones marathon. She didn't know that she would recognize so many actors in that show. I teased her about a lot of the content that she saw there. She agreed that she was so glad that Joffery is dead. (I still say that's so sad that a show could make me hate someone so much that I would be glad to see a child dead. I even told her that.) So she has a way to go to catch up with me.

I sat down on the first or second of this month and I promise you, we DID add Game of Thrones to my watch list on Netflix. Now it's no where to be found. I asked hubby if I was dreaming or did we actually do that. He said we did. At least I know it was not something that was just in my mind. LOL. So, I'm caught up as much as I'm going to be for some time. Feel free to discuss whatever or how much you guys feel like. Or don't worry about spoilers on MY account. I'll leave that conversation up to you guys. I'm also anxious to hear what happened next. I'd also love to be able to add my own theories up to date, so I'll definitely jump in on the conversation at any time.  |

I have that series about Joan Crawford and Bette Davis DVR'd. I have not had the time to actually watch it but it has to be good. I have always been a fan of Bette Davis since I was a kid. Back in those days I've also watched Mommy Dearest on HBO a lot. Probably too much. I could never believe a woman could be that way to her kids it terrified me. Then about a month or so ago, I recently rewatched, "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane" I think that's the name of it. I have not seen it in years. I did remember Bette Davis being in it. That movie terrified me too. LOL. This time, I stayed tune right after the movie (I think it was on AMC or one of those oldies movie channels.) The host gave a lot of background info about those two. He said that they feuded in real life behind the scenes. Even got the producers or directors in on it. It got real nasty too. Here I thought a movie about those two would be fun to watch and now they've made a series. I never knew their feud was long lived past the award win ceremony. I'm definitely going to watch this series. All I will say to you, Miss C., is "HOLD THE DOOR!!!!!!" Erin I know that scene.... Wasn't that on the same episode that I mentioned before?
