Ok, I know I guessed Tom Riddle's diary incorrectly last time but I'm again wondering if this is the answer. The one with white hair would be Lucius and we know the diary was left with him. Then the unsuspecting lovely would be Ginny and she had to do Tom's bidding when he possessed her. So my guess is it Tom's diary?

It is indeed Tom Riddles Diary. Good Job!

I guess the only person left it could be is the Gurg.. The head giant for a while, who was dethroned by having someone chuck his head in the bottom of the lake. I can't think of anyone who had their head chopped off other than him.

I am sorry to say Miss Charlotte, this too is incorrect. You were so much closer to the real answer the first time. Now you have gone on to yet a completely different species.

Well.... there is not many instances where someone was beheaded that I can recall. I saw the words "Giant of my kind" and thought "giant."
Then wasn't Nagini beheaded? I keep forgetting my trivia from the last book. Oh mercy me.

Nagini did in fact have his head chopped off by Neville Longbottom when he pulled the Sword of Gryffindor out of the burning Sorting Hat that Voldemort had tried to kill Neville with. Good Job!

Is this the diadem of Ravenclaw? It was lost for years so this would be the lifetime of searching, the grey lady could be the daughter, and then destroyed by fires could be the fiend fyre?

A brilliant mind I see. You are absolutely correct as it is indeed Fiend Fyre that destroyed the Ravenclaw Diadem. Also it is absolutely correct that the Diadem was supposedly lost for many generations and that the Grey Lady is indeed the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw. So the correct answer as you have guessed is the Ravenclaw Diadem
