3. He flies through the air with the greatest of eaze. Along side him are creatures who can easily scorch you with a simple sneeze.
Ah...this must be Charlie Weasley... he was a great quidditch player (as seeker, I think?) and he now works with dragons...who could definitely scorch you!

1. Long ago, many a mark was made. It is all recorded on this who simply did not make the grade. This one has had me stumped from the beginning. I wonder if it has to do with blood status-pure blood, half blood, Squibb etc, but can't figure out what the mark would be? I will have to keep thinking about this one unless someone else knows the answer?

Aha Fangsfan1, you are on the right track indeed. All one must do is to walk to, look and touch and the blasts with your fingertips you can read. It shows all of those who have come and gone at one time before the screamer in the gilded cage began to have some of her nasty fun.

Could it be the tapestry in Sirius' house which held all the members and family tree of the House of Black? The ones who didn't make the grade would be the ones like Sirius who Mrs Black burned off the family tree tapestry. And she is definitely the nasty screamer!

Oh so very close you are fangsfan1 to the correct answer to the bonus question. It is a single individual whom holds all the threads in place and you are well on your way to this persons identity.
So from this latest clue of yours Fawkes, I realized that Sirius Black was related to the Weasleys as well as Bellatrix, and of course related to all on the Black family tapestry. So is the answer that all here are relations of Sirius Black?

1. I fly through the air with the greatest of ease. To catch me though you must be a fast as the breeze.
I could think of several things which might fit this-but peeking at some of the other riddles, I am wondering if this could be the Golden Snitch. There's nothing which flies better or faster and is harder to catch than the Golden Snitch!

2. Upon me the youngest in a century did ride. I arrived wrapped in paper which my form did not disguise. They youngest in a century was Harry, the youngest Seeker in a century. Is the answer his Nimbus Two Thousand? It arrived in paper, carried in by owl post and when they were carrying it, Malfoy knew it was broomstick before it was unwrapped. I caught another golden snitch while trying to solve this riddle!
