Absolutely one of the best sequences of scenes for Ron (Rupert Grint) in all of the Harry Potter movies. OOOOPPPPPSSS sorry Erin,  I thought I was putting that on my own page but for some bizarre reason it showed up on yours.. This is the second time this week! Near beginning of March, 1995- Harry's 4th year. Rita Skeeter's article on Hermione comes out in Witch Weekly. It states that Hermione is toying with the emotions of both Harry and Viktor Krum. Hermione is non-plussed, but many readers are incensed...

March 1995 - about a week after the Rita Skeeter article, Hermione begins receiving hate mail. One of them contains undiluted bobotuber pus, sending her to the hospital wing with painful sores all over her hands.

March 10, 1959 - Remus J. Lupin is born. At an early age (exact age/time unknown), he is bitten by the werewolf Greyback, and becomes one himself. As he nears the age to attend Hogwarts, Dumbledore arranges precautions that will allow him to attend safely.

March, 1996 - their 5th year. Umbridge fires Prof. Trelawney, making a big scene for all to see. DD comes to the rescue, telling Umbridge that though she can fire his teachers, she can't throw them out of the school grounds. He also informs her that she does not need to find a new Divination teacher, as he has already found one...Firenze, a centaur. Umbridge is outraged, but can't do anything about it.

March 1997, Harry's sixth year. Dumbledore takes harry on another trip down memory lane...onVoldemort's visit to Hepzibah Smith. She shows him her most precious treasures...Helga Hufflepuff's cup, and Slytherin's locket. 2 days after this visit, Ms.Smith dies....and her house elf, Hokey, takes the blame for her death...her family never does find those two treasures...

OH this is one of my most favorite parts of the books. ANYTHING to do with dips into the pensive. Loved to look back in time at Tom Riddle's life and trying to see what makes him tick.

March 1994 - their 4 th year. Hagrid sends a tear- streaked note to Hermione thanking her for all her help with Buckbeak's trial (which makes Ron and Harry feel guilty for not helping), but that they lost. Ron says he will help with the appeal.

March 1998 - the 7 th year. Ron finally is able to get the password for Potterwatch on the wizarding wireless. They excitedly talk about what they heard, and Harry forgets the taboo on Voldemort's name and says it out loud before Ron can stop him. The snatchers are there within seconds, and Herminone sends a stinging jinx at Harry to disguise him. The snatchers can't confirm who they are, but are curious about Harry's scar. They take the trio, along with Dean and Griphook, who had already been captured, to Malfoy manor. There Bellatrix finds Gryffindor's sword, and tortures Hermione with the cruciatus curse. Griphook lies for the trio, saying the sword is a fake. Harry asks for help in his mirror, and Dobby appears. Dobby apperates away with Luna, Ollivander, Dean and Griphook. Peter Petigrew is sent to check on the noise, and his life debt to Harry is paid when his silver hand strangles him. Dobby returns, and after a fight, where Harry obtained Malfoy's wand, Dobby apperates away with the trio, just as Bellatrix sends a knife sailing toward the group.
When they arrive on the beach at Shell Cottage, they realize that Dobby has been stabbed, and the devoted house elf dies with the words "Harry Potter". A distraught Harry buries the elf the "right" way.

April 1, 1978 - Fred and George Weasley, identical twins are born. They are the 4th and 5th sons of Arthur and Molly, and have the trademark Weasley red hair. The pair proves to live up to their birthday, cracking jokes, and being mischievous throughout their lives. They are highly skilled in magic and pranks, combining the two to create many products for the shop they eventually open, "Weasley's Wizard Wheezes" a successful venture for the beloved twins.

Wooo Hooo! I KNEW you were going to post on this thread today... I remember only three dates off the top of my head.. Harry's birthday, the first day of school... and Fred and George's birthdays...
