Well, I'll let you take care of that then since I have no idea how to get in touch with some random name on a picture. Really, too much trouble for one day's use.. but if you want to I'll let you do the footwork. It is really cute. I got it off Google images. If they say yes, then I'll gladly put it up there for ya. |

My sister just showed me a picture someone posted on her Facebook. It's two owls made entirely of flowers, kind of along the lines of the floats in the Rose Bowl parade. Very cool and colorful.

Saturdays my town has a farmer's market and the lady who breeds sheepdogs, where I got my dog, has a booth there. I always try to walk by with my dog so she can see him. Today I could have sworn she had to little owl figurines on her stand, couldn't get to close because the wise woman does not bring Andy too close to all that food and breakable stuff.
Then we went shopping at Christmas Tree Shop this afternoon, do any of you have those where you are? Anyway they are starting to get Halloween stuff in-lots of cool owl figurines already.

Yesterday during our outting, we stopped at the gift store. We gave our son a choice of stuffed animals that he wanted. We held up an owl and a skunk... guess what he chose? THE SKUNK!  ;D He held onto it all night long. |

Actually, for some weird reason, we get certain stores only when they are in season. The Halloween stores are beginning to pop up around the most populated cities. I"ve seen a few of those already. Now, I've seen Christmas stores. Normally here they show up in our Mall's but only at Christmastime. I've seen some that are all year long, but not here in this state. I've seen one at Epcot in the Germany part of the park. They had a whole tree decorated in pickles. Another all in redpeppers. They even had some of the snowmen made of wood. Basically themed trees. I loved the tree that was nothing but the Nutcrackers. They may be in minature, but the nutcrackers have working parts. I do have a set that I bought to put on my tree here at home. ok.... sorry for the ramble. |

I got a beautiful Celtic owl statue for my birthday, also a handmade quilted one from a craft fair.
I'm getting quite a collection. Also My sister sent me a Halloween card with an owl in it, I notice there are more and more owls used as Halloween decorations lately.

Yes... I noticed that too. More than the usual. I'm really glad that owls are becomming more popular than before. I think they are so interesting. The other day my family and I went out for breakfast. We ate at The Cracker Barrell. Well, in case you have not ever been there they have a store/giftshop sort of... that you have to walk through in order to get to the restaraunt. Oh.. .I loved to go there to get the stocking stuffers and easter basket things. The kids never saw these old retro candies that our grandparents use to buy when they were kids. Then the Halloween and Christmas items to buy... You have to go in there each year to take a look. Anyway, I can't seem to get my scanner to work. I bought an owl postcard. So... it hit me a second ago to go look them up online. YAY.... they had it. So, now here it is. ![]() i45.TP .com/29ar2jd.jpg[/img] |
