Leance.... I agree with Duddah... they missed out on a lot that they would not admit to... At least you had all of the fun.  to them. ;D That was really interesting. I am a little confused though because the Leaky has confirmed that two different people were going to score DH2. I wonder which one will ultimately get the job.. I know which one I am wishing for... His initials are JW. You know how a while ago we were discussing how the notes to Hedwig's theme were not on the soundtrack? Well.. I told my daughter about this and she was not happy and ranted a bit saying how they can't do that... That this has always been a part of ALL of the Harry Potter movies and they can't stop now. Turns out, like us, she too was looking forward to the way they would add those first notes to our favorite tune to THIS film... Well... rest assured we were both so happy to actually hear those notes just before they went into the new music. It was as if they were saying this was what was and now this is Harry Potter now.. today. So is still is in there, briefly but there none the less. |

i can't wait to see DH! i'm going with friends on saturday and we're all chuffed. i got some bad news last night, my aunt has a brain tumour and it's the size of a man's fist.  she's in hospital...it doesn't look good, but i'm going to keep positive thoughts!! Oh my goodness. I do wish you and your family well during this time. I will add to the rest are saying here, that you and yours will be in my prayers, hoping for peace and comfort to go your way during this time.  |

We had a good one here...and a funny story to boot! Here it is...
My 9 year old decided that he would show everyone how he meditates (which is the first I heard of him doing it, by the way)...so he sits on the floor in the middle of the family room at the house where we had gathered for Thanksgiving...with about a dozen or so people in there at the time. He crosses his legs, sits up straight, closes his eyes, and rests his hands on his knees, palms up......with his middle fingers pointing straight up! He had absolutely no idea that he was doing anything wrong....and while somewhat pleased....was not sure why we were all cracking up!
Yes, I got a picture of it...

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you here. I am thankful for your friendship and also to Grandpa Lovegood for starting this site where we all can be together! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you all celebrate that particular day or even if it was a regular day in your life. ;D And Fangsfan I'm thankful for you too. I'm glad that you decided to hang out here with all of us. And I am thankful for everyone here, who has decided to stick around and share... not only enjoy the fun that the rest of you all bring but bringing the fun with you here too. We all add a bit of our own views and ideas about Harry Potter to this site... So often you guys make me think of things that I had not thought about before... And I have said that a lot... that I love it when you guys make me think. Thanks guys. |

i got more shocking news yesterday...my cousin and i went for coffee and he told me my aunt was going in for an 8 hour surgery!!!!  anyway, later in the day, we got news that my aunt's surgery was a success!!! what a relief, i was so scared and worried. the tumour turned out to be bigger than they first thought! it was the size of a grapefruit!! well, they got it all out and my mum told me that she was talking, knew who everyone was and was even joking a bit with the nurses. that's my aunt, a lady with a sense of humour!! they kept her in ICU, as the first 24 hours are very critical. i haven't heard anything new today, so no news is good news. i think she will be ok!!! |
