Hi Miss Charlotte, Hope things are all falling into place.. The New digs are good? Well, we will be here waiting for your return. I am sure you will have some great tales to share with all of us about the move. Can't wait to hear them, but will have to.. YEAH for Miss Charlotte and her digs!

Hey, this is cool....this year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is from my hometown! Erin You must be very proud Erin.. Especially with the Firefighter 911 connection to the tree as well. And here all this time, I thought you grew up in lower Westchester County and you are actually from originally Putnam County.. So you were even more familiar with the rink in Katona area where I used to teach more than I thought! I pass by Martha Stewarts farm every morning when I go there to teach still. She has done wonders with the place having added buildings and turned it back into a working farm once again. |

I am so much looking forward to Christmas this year. And I always love to see that tree that the decorate there. Wow... Duddah I remember you telling us last year how Martha Stewart had once showed your family a special trick to the trade of decorating the Christmas tree... but I don't recall exactly what she did differently.. or if you even said. Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I really did try many many times to get back here to make my posting spree. Trouble was my computer was just set up... less than a day in fact before it suddenly didn't want to allow the internet to work. It's a glitch on my computer.. I do plan to get a new one... probably a laptop. It's time. I've had to call in for the guys to come back here to see why the internet was no longer working. They had been in here most of the morning... they called in for reinforcements... then as a last minute thought... they tried something else.. For the time being it's working. (knock on wood.) I might not need to purchase a new compter as soon as I thought.. but it is on my wish list anyway. I've had little sleep today, after working all night.. but I do plan to come back here to post a little bit later on today. So sorry fo rmaking this one post and running.. But I do want to tell you all that I have missed you guys bunches. |

glad you got the internet working! i don't know what i'd do without internet ;D
a bit of a bust weekend, played a mini set at a bandmate's daughter's wedding, that went well. got bad news on the way home, my guitarist told me that our manager turned down 2 gigs, one of them a big new year's gig! needless to say, my guitarist, drummer and myself are more than angry!! I don't know what he's playing at!! grrr

Aww what a bummer JB! Hah, I think Duddahs takes it a bit too far, but you're right for being angry though! And heeey Miss C! I could say welcome back, but that's somehwat weird coming from me. I haven't been here for days either. Anyway, guys... and girls... and everyone else too...  (my, I make less sense by the second) Yesterday evening I saw the movie at my local cinema! It was English, subtitled and the place was CRAMMED FULL! I swear, half of my old classmates were there! But really, it was worth it. I guess I won't say more, since I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but yeah... I'm glad I went  |

;D I always loved the hub bub that goes along with going ot the first showings of these fun films. You sometimes see some fans attend wearing costumes. I wonder if I will see any tomorrow. I know I will have on my HP Tshirt. But being in the theater filled with those who love the story as much as we do adds to the enjoyment of it all. |

I almost love the irony on these HP movie nights. Because people have always shunned me for being a fan of Harry Potter. Whether it was me and a friend discussing the upcoming book, a movie or anything, or me just reading one of the books in my spare time. They'd always have to point, laugh, giggle together and call me names. The irony's this: Almost every one of them was present. And I'm fairly sure that every single one of them enjoyed the movie. So yeah...  they make no sense to me, at all! |

I'm really glad I did too, Duddahs!  Thanks, it's one way of looking at it that I hadn't really noticed yet. Now I'm not quite sure where to post this as to share it with everyone easiest, but I suppose here will do. This noon I got a "trailer" for the 1st part of DH's Official Soundtrack, so naturally my inner internet Snatcher shouted "DOWNLOAD IT!".  (I usually download at least two or three tracks before deciding to buy it, really!) So I performed a quick search to find out that nobody, as of yet, has it online yet. That means two things. - I will simply have to get my hands on the real deal, without being able to give myself a quick preview of whether or not it is worth the money...
- And I stumbled upon a fanmade soundtrack, which is absolutely stunning!
My apologies for the commercial, it just pops up like that. This is what this remarkably talented composer came up with for what he feels would fit the epilogue. As much as I loved the score in the first part of the 7th movie, none of the individual tracks have the same identity as e.g. Hedwig's Theme has. But this fanmade piece certainly has that feel. Basically, he's taken all sorts of previous HP tracks, added some new instruments and remixed it into brilliant new pieces. So yeah, I felt like sharing. Not sure if you all agree with me, but I thought it was really nice. |

I am a little confused though because the Leaky has confirmed that two different people were going to score DH2.
I wonder which one will ultimately get the job.. I know which one I am wishing for... His initials are JW.

I know which one I am wishing for... His initials are JW. From what I've heard the great JW *winks* and Desplat are going to work together to make a brilliant mixture. I am simply hoping for Williams to take care of things such as the epilogue -to have that signature feel- and for Desplat to take care of the actions scenes, since he did those spot on! |

i can't wait to see DH! i'm going with friends on saturday and we're all chuffed. i got some bad news last night, my aunt has a brain tumour and it's the size of a man's fist.  she's in hospital...it doesn't look good, but i'm going to keep positive thoughts!! |
