Watching Halloween Wars on the Food Network Channel-amazing what they do with pumpkins, cake and sugar. As for Halloween movies, I haven't seen too many on tv yet-where's the beef, cable channels?

Came home from work and switched on AMC and one of those Chucky movies was on. Watched for a few minutes and then the doll jumped out at someone and then I'm outta here!! (I scare very easily).

LOL My friend and I used to watch the Chucky movies and laugh so hard...it just seemed so ridiculous that we found it more funny than scary!

I can see what you mean, they are kind of funny too. I always watch these movies, then get scared and turn them off, then I can't help myself, I have to keep going back and peeking to see what's going on!

Came home from work and switched on AMC and one of those Chucky movies was on. Watched for a few minutes and then the doll jumped out at someone and then I'm outta here!! (I scare very easily). I remember watching the first one at the theater. For some reason, I find the old black and white movies or TV shows with dolls talking when they should not, as being more scary than the Chucky ones... I can't remember if it were the old Twilight Zone or the Outter Limits shows. I miss those. Maybe it has more to do with the black and white difference? Although, when you are sitting in a theater with Chucky on the screen, it's a bit different than watching it these days on TV. That was scary when it's huge and right in front of you AND current in how it was compared to anything else from that current time. ................ Funny though, I've caught myself watching a lot of this channel and the old scary movies. I was watching then last part of Children of the Corn the other night. I completely forgot that Linda Hamilton starred in that one. OH and tonight on Svengoulie, the 1931 Frankenstein movie is coming on. I can't wait. I know when I was about ten years old and saw that movie for MY first time (on an old Vincent Price Theater show) that I was expecting to be scared, because normally anything on his show did scare me. However, I remember literally crying for the monster. Not to mention I lived just around the corner from the REAL Frankenstein's castle at that particular time in my life. It was up on top of the hill on the other side of my house, so I really could not see it from any of our windows. A literal five minute drive. I can't wait to see it again tonight. It's been years.

A couple of scary dementors!!!! Oh that is so cool! I'll bet you guys had fun. I would have loved handing out candy to you guys. We didn't have a single Harry Potter character step onto our porch.

Halloween movies are coming thick and fast. There's some kind of old Dracula movie on TCM and I'm going back and forth between than and Halloween Wars on Food Network-amazing the stuff they come up with. Has anyone seen Stephen King's It yet?

I have not see "IT" yet. I'm waiting until it comes out on video. It would be a waste of money to buy movie tickets, when I'm going to spend half the time hiding my eyes! LOL I'm more into the psychological thrillers, than horror...but I do like a good horror movie...but sometimes I just listen, if I'm expecting something to jump out...I'm a chicken...

I've seen the old version from decades ago. I'd like to see that one again first, before I see this one. I've heard mixed reviews about the new one. I was thinking I'd like to pass on seeing the old one and this one, but since my daughter wants to see only this new one, she wants me to see it with her. I guess we will wait till it comes to Redbox. Hubby has always hated clowns so we are on our own. I mainly want to compare the two versions. This new one does look like it will give the old version a run for it's money. Hey, Fangsfan! I've been watching a bit of those old black and white Frankenstein and Dracula movies on TCM and another channel. I think I'm to the point to where I like the classics best.

Miss Jennifer and Monty are in for a ghoulish Halloween night of movie watching!

I've been watching a lot of the old ones on TCM too. I get scared really easy so those are more my speed sometimes! On Halloween day we have a tradition of putting TCM on all day and having all those oldies on.

They also have a Blu-ray version series of the Halloween movies but Duddahs is not sure he would watch them again or not. The terrible song from Halloween 3 season of the witch, six more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, six mor days to Halloween, silver shamrocks. It was one of the worst movies of all time but that horrible song has stuck in Duddahs memory forever. That is one of the four Halloween movies on the disc but for only $1.00 Duddahs might be willing to put it on later in the Halloween night celebrating just for laughs and giggles.

Tonight Legend of Sleepy Hollow is on Freeform-a fun Halloween movie and not as scary as some. And it has Uncle Vernon and Johnny Depp from Fantastic Beasts too!

Well we had no power for Halloween but still managed to get 50 trick or treaters. I did not get to make my M&M cookies or watch The House on Haunted Hill or Dead of Night on TCM better luck next year. Time to get ready for Christmas movies now!

I did watch ONE old movie that night, House of wax with Vincent Price. I haven't seen that one in years. I think it was on the TCM channel. I thought it was a black and white movie. The other night it was in color. Weird.
