Harry Potter collectiblesCrystal balls? Brooms? Wands? Book covers? Train Sets? Action figures? Sheets sets? Candy? This list could go on and on... Yep... I once had a thought about posting images of the different things that we can collect of our beloved Harry Potter world. This thread could be the place to COLLECT them and share them all in together. (Just make sure that it's not a copywrited image and we all should be fine.) Lets have fun!

Hey... are there any areas of interest? I mean, I have pictures of snow globes that could last a year if I posted them once a day.. but I'm not going to do that... SO are the interests Toys? Book covers? Odd items? Chess sets? Candy wrappers? ALL of them... none of them? Hmm?

I LOVE these pics of the collectables. I have a small collection of owls that I had as a kid and have lately been adding a few more to it. At the time of course I didn't know about HP but now I can't see an owl without thinking of the Harry Potter series.

Really.. I wish I had kept my collection of owls. Ever since I was about 7 or 8 years old.. my animals of choice to collect were Frogs, owls and the occasional turtle. When I was 12 years old my mom took me to get my ears pierced. Then when I could take out the ones they said I had to keep in for several weeks... My first pair that I chose for myself were owls. Well.. for the past few months I have signed up to get email from a store called "Tuesday Mornings." I LOVE that store.. it always has some of the best things in there.. things you won't find at just any other place. Mostly imports from other countries.. makes me miss a bit of home. Well... when I clicked on the crystal figurines.. I saw these.. OH! i56.TP .com/24fyd02.jpg This one is large. i51.TP .com/2wovibd.jpg I'm not going there.. Once I get bit by the collectors bug I go overboard. Then it gets a life of it's own. You should have seen my spotted cow collection. Once people saw I liked them.. they would bring them to me left and right. What a thing to have connected to the memory of you.. They see a spotted cow, they think of ME. ;D That is just wrong. As for these, I could easily get into collecting these crystal sort of figurines... My curio cabinet is filled up already with other things... My favorites are the tiniest trinkets. But these owls would be beautiful. Except... the one I like best they said was large... I wonder HOW large? I guess if I ever get curious enough, that I would just go to the store.. It's not far from where I live... But I do think it's funny... a fellow owl collector.

Yes I've always loved them. I like birds anyway but there's something kind of mysterious about owls, I can't really explain it. I love collecting things but my house is getting so crowded I really need to weed things out rather than start new collections. I have collected Teddy bears for years and it's like you said, people are always giving me bears. My first sheepdog Theo, he was a holy terror, he used to chew my bears if he could get them. Nothing that wouldn't show like the tail but always the nose and the face-of course this should probably be put on the magical creatures thread. I'll have to go there sometime and post some more about Theo.

Speaking of Harry Potter collectibles, I noticed on Ebay that a seller who sells items that are sold in the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter is selling Blood Pops... They look the same.. I wonder if they are made by the same firm that made the originals... They are bit more expensive though but I will have to bite the bullet and buy a pack and see for myself I guess. I only have 3 packs of 5 of the originals left..

Yeah.. I know what you mean.. I had a cat that loved to snuggle up in my sons stuffed animal collection, that I kept over to one side of his room. Not the ones I actually gave my son.. but the ones that were too many for him to play with. In particular she loved to sleep on a cat I made him's lap. LOL. I had to wash it and that made it's glued on felt eyes wash off. So Now he has a eyeless cat... all because Spot loved to sleep on it and got cat fur on it. She knew she was to never get in his bed... Some wonderful reason all of the cats know how to be careful with him. Only two cats have ever got up in his lap when he'd sit.. but ONLY when he'd sit. Mattie is a strange creature... she will attack anything just to play. She likes to steal my ink pens and pencils. OH and Duddah... if you do decide to order some more.. then would you please let us know. I know some products have changed from the original... I'd hate to think they changed the blood pops.

;D I had no choice... She looked exactly like one of Data's cats. There were two orange ones.. one was long haired and not like mine... later he was replaced with a short haired striped one. I LOVED my cat Spot... No matter how long isn't been.. I miss her dearly. *wails loudly* ;D but I do know it was fun to choose that name... She was a mess.. she even kept an eye out for the kids. I always said if I ever got a short haired dog I would in turn name it fluffy just for meanness sake. ;D I'll post another collector's item soon.

LOL... I have the COS train set.. but mine I can't seem to find a picture of online. Mine does not have the weasley car in it that is exclusive. I would just take a pic of my to post. Problem is when we moved last year, we placed everything in a storage room not too far away from here. Then we has a storm that flooded the storage facility and some things were soaked... like this train set's box. We tried to dry it out but it was too late.. Still.. the train is in perfectly good working order.
