What if, Hagrid had been allowed to keep Norbert/Norberta... Do you think that Dumbledore would have allowed them to use her in the Tri Wizard Tournament or do you think she would have still been too young to have produced an egg?

I've wondered that too because it seems like Uncle V really wanted to get Harry out of the house. So I think he wold eventually reconsider and let him go. |

What if Hagrid had been cleared of the charges brought against him and he were allowed to return to Hogwarts as a student and thus become a full blown Wizard... What do you believe he would have done for a living in the Wizarding World?

I think he would have done the same thing.... or maybe something having to do with magical creatures. He was close to Dumbledore. I'll bet he would have wanted to keep close to him when it comes to work. I'd love to hear other's ideas as well.

Yes I think so too and Dumbledore might have still made him gameskeeper with some additional magical duties as well.
What I would love is if he could have become a kind of veterinarian for magical creatues. Look how long he kept Aragog alive, I'll bet he would know all kinds of home remedies for ailing creatures.It would be interesting to know if he would have to do more schooling for this but I think he would love it.
