What if Draco never did disarm Dumbledore? I think many different things would have happened.
Would Dumbledore simply wait until Snape got up there to allow him to kill him? I do think that was the plan for Snape to have become master of the Elder Wand.
I can't help but wonder what else would have happened differently?

What if Draco had a younger brother or sister? Someone to look up to him and admire him and maybe Draco could teach him some magic-would it have made a difference to his personality?
I was reading back and lots of what ifs about Draco-I guess he must be a pretty interesting character.

What if they extended the rules on Hogwarts pets-besided cat, owl or toad you could also have pigs and goats? (go Aberforth!). How long before Filch quit in despair over the cleanings? Or would they assign him a student to help with the cleanup by magic? The student who volunteered for this job would earn 50 points for their house.

I bet Neville would have been so spooked by the map that he would have turned it into Professor McGonagall before ever using it. |

We were talking about this on another thread.... Number of students per house per year. I wonder if there were any years where one of the houses didn't have any sorted to them? OR if they did that they were all one gender.... all boys that year and no girls... or vice versus?  |

We were talking about this on another thread.... Number of students per house per year. I wonder if there were any years where one of the houses didn't have any sorted to them? OR if they did that they were all one gender.... all boys that year and no girls... or vice versus? This is how I picture it, that you would never know from one year to the next. |

What if, Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald had not separated at the time of Ariana's death? Do you believe that Dumbledore would have been led down the path of evil that Grindelwald chose or do you believe that Dumbledore would have persuaded Gellert to see the light of good?

I guess my feeling is that at that time Gellert was too selfish to change, in spite of the fact that he did care about Dumbledore. I think he was too carried away by his thirst for power at that time. With Dumbledore though, I believe eventually he would have realized GG was wrong and would have ended up choosing the good side. |

I would love to see those pet restrictions listed... Hmmmmm. what would YOU bring to Hogwarts? They are listed on Harry's first Hogwarts letter. I can imagine without restrictions, some might bring snakes, others wierd bugs, ron had a rat. I can see many like hagrid might bring something they think is not dangerous but to others they might be. THen to think of the magical creatures... What was that??? A Nogtail? the one that looks like a Jack Russel Terrier but with a forked or arrow shaped tail? Birds of all sorts. Now that my mind is beginning to run with this thought... What would Luna bring? |
