That's a good point Duddahs. And I also thought afterwards, he might be too creeped out to do it since he knew what it was like to have LV in his thoughts-to be in his body too might be just too much.

What if Harry were able to polyjuice himself into Voldemort for a day-how would he use it to help the OOP? Yeah..... I think he could use a good nail clipping. Still, your idea is very creepy but I see it could have worked. Wow! edited to add: I think the mere thought that voldemort was not happy with someone would cause his words to be done. I don't think Harry would have to do much acting at all to pull anything off. Remember how Tom from the diary was proud of the fact that the "mere memory" of him caused Dumbledore to be kicked out of the school in book two? SO I still see that this could have been something that could have worked at least in a small way. OH and have you ever noticed that Voldemort hardly ever used his wand? He always made others do his bidding for him. I thought that was odd... but the more I thought about it, it was also a way to have power over those he commanded. ================ What if.... Hermione never went crying in the girls bathroom in book one? |

In reference to Lucius and especially Draco:
What if some of the death eaters in hiding decided to come back and stage a rebellion and actually became very powerful again? I have a feeling Lucius would probably join them but what about Draco? Would he remember what happened in the past when he decided to join the death eaters and decide to stay on the good side?

WHat IF......
Voldemort did not decide to use items of historical value to place the bits of his soul? I do understand his reasoning to do so... but what if he chose ordinary items that no one would think was worth destroying?

I know whenever I start reading about the horcruxes I think about that, how it would have been a nightmare to find them if he'd done it that way. I guess the point of it is that LV was so arrogant that he had to use objects with a special significance-but the other way would have been so much smarter. Another way that his arrogance was his downfall. |

What if Neville had not noticed the Sword of Gryffindor in the Sorting Hat? Do you think that it would have presented itself to yet another Gryffindor student? Maybe even one of the Adult Wizards such as Minerva McGonagall?

I never thought about that.... Could it present it to Gryffindor's even if they are NOT a student... or of that age group? If so... then why would Godric Gryffindor ever create a sword thinking a "STUDENT" might ever be in need of it? Then to anticipate that the Sorting Hat would be in place to present it to that particular student at the right time that they need it. So many strange things to anticipate.... Maybe he's a seer?
