What If; Wormtail had not escaped the night he did? Would he still have joined up with what was to become Voldemort? I always suspected he wouldn't have joined with him unless he had to because he was scared to death of him. |

The subject of a witch or wizard portrait steps into a Muggle portrait?
would he or she just stand there and look all creeped out looking at the frozen form of the muggle? Knowing me, I'll probably draw a mustache or mess with their hair.

I always wondered what Arthur Weasley would have thought of ..... OK.. I'd love to take him out on a date. Movie and a meal. Just so I could experience the wonder of it all through his eyes. What would wizards make of movie magic? That has been a huge question in my mind for years.
OK..... to keep this in tune with the thread... What would Arthur do IF he went to see a movie. Yeah... show him the Wizard of OZ. LOL

YOu know... that was something I've always wondered about. I mean when I was growing up we had the Prom. Only Seniors could go... Juniors could IF they raised the money to pay for the event for the Seniors and then had extra to pay for them to go too. Well, you could also go if you were one of their dates. I did get to go to my then boyfriend's junior prom since they raised enough for both grades to be able to go. (Oh and for those who don't know, for us Juniors and Seniors were the last two grades before graduating high school.) Now a days or at least where I live now it's been sorely downgraded. I mean I believe middle schools which are 7th and 8th grades on up get to go to their own formal proms. To me that takes away from the prestige of the one the final year you are in school... I always thought it was supposed to be a send off statement where kids are saying they are getting ready to step out in the world of adulthood. It's always held close to the end of the school year right before graduating. So.... there at hogwarts... why not at least have one for them for the older students?  |

What if Mr Weasley couldn't get the car to fly? I know Miss C loves that flying car and when you think of it, It really had a big effect on events in that book.

What if dumbledore shaved off all of his hair and beard and gave it to Voldemort to wear?

What IF? Harry was not able to mend his Holly and Phoenix wand with the assistance of the Elder Wand.
Do you think that he would have then chosen to KEEP the Elder Wand as his own? Or would he have had Ollivanders Nephew or who ever took over the shop make him a new wand?

And since he had helped rescue Ollivander, I think Ollivander would go out of his way to make him the best wand possible. I have so much respect for Harry, I think he would make the right decison. |

SO with that in mind... are there more several wands in Ollivander's shop that will choose to go with a particular person? I mean, if Voldemort did not have that link.... or that part of himself within Harry when Harry went to the shop for the first time, wouldn't another wand be in there that would have chosen Harry instead? It could still be there. BUT!!!! That leads me back to wonder if it might just be that more than one wand in the shop could choose to go with a particular person and that it's just the one that Ollivander picks out first from that lot that will choose a particular person that gets to be the one to find it's owner first? |
