To Hogwarts the duo flew from afar, their journey made possible by a stolen flying car. Their intent to lay their heads upon their dorm room pillow, but first they had to deal with a nasty Whomping Willow. While the Potions Master readied with feather and tar.

I loved this one Duddahs, especially the last line cracked me up!
There was a professor named Snape, Who hid in a black, flowing cape, Some called him a hero, Some said, he's a zero, But from death he helped Potter escape.

Three Heads are surely better than one. Especially when you are trying to have fun. So go on as you might And put up your best fight Still you won't get past me when the game is done.

Harry was sorted in Gryffindor Heart of a lion and so much more Player of quidditch Catcher of the snitch One what opened when he knew the score
The funny thing is I came here this afternoon for some reason to write a limmerick about platform nine and three quarters with sons and daughters. I am really glad that I read all of your wonderful limmericks before I wrote that one or I might have looked like I plagerized Fangsfan.

Yeah... these are so much fun to read. Funny, I thought of this thread a little while ago. See, I'm rereading the Hobbit book. In there Tolkien has lots of little songs. One I noticed was a Limerick. I had to come take a peek in here.

The father of Ron had hair of red As well as his brothers George and Fred They all liked flying And not the crying But no eyes were dry when Fred was dead

Before the trio snuck out the portrait door, Poor Neville was spelled to hit the floor. Off into the night the trio crept, To find out the secret that Fluffy kept. Only to find him hiding much more.

Harry said "It's the fair thing to do, Hagrid told me, so now I'll tell you. Beauxs and Durms tongues are waggin' Cause the first task is dragons, And it's only right you should know too."
Cedric said "Take the egg to the loo, (While you're there check the bubbles out too) Take a bath-wet your ears, Puzzle out what you hear, Til the second task comes clear to you."
Great limericks all, thanks Rallem and Duddahs!!

A song that is so very solemn, Fly's where no one can follow him. His heart has been broken, And his memories a mere token. Now that Death for his friend came callin

To look for what they did take, I headed down to the great lake. Without fear I dove right in, Suddenly realized that I could not swim. But remembered Gillyweed would gills and flippers make.

Far beneath Hogwarts I do hide, and through the plumbing I shall slide. I killed a girl who was in a loo stall, and petrified a cat and hung it on the wall. Until the return of the heir my time I will bide.

A great one Duddahs, reminds me of something the Sphinx in the maze would ask. I'll bet your friend Fawkes the Quizmaster helped you!
