Brandon seems like a down to earth guy. Nothing like his uncle. Sounds good to me.
Laughs that Coach does not seem to be getting anywhere. LOL!

I do not like Brandon at all. Phoney as a two dollar bill.
I do not trust people who wear their religion as if it were something to be proud that they have returned to what ever religion they have.
I have never lost mine, so I guess I never had to refound.
I have always felt that those who profess lord this and lord that and then talk about how they have to conceal this and conceal that about themselves to be nothing more that lip smacking talkers.
Love comes from deep within. One does not HAVE to yell it from the roof tops for others to see it if it is pure and real.

See, if a person can not learn from his past mistakes they can not repent of them. To apologize to those they have wronged and then do what is necessary to make it better. Those people remain stagnant in their progression of life. They can not grow to become better than they were the day before. That is what I got from his in depth discussion of finding whatever religion he now belongs to. (but I do agree with you on one thing.. it will be a bit tiring if he's one of these people who talks religion every time the camera is on him.)
I liked how he professed that when he was younger he was a wild child. He was a Russel wanna be and how he since learned that was not a wise thing to want. He now is married and does not work the way his uncle did in survivor... (Which was to find the dumb girl and make her his ally from the beginning.... to work her... to play her for his own gain. To lie, cheat and hurt people all in the name of the game.)
Then the conversation we have been having about tatoos... funny, he seems to want to hide the fact that he has any relation to his uncle.. Seems again, like a regret that he has his name tatoo'd on his skin. People do learn from their past mistakes... they grow.
I know it's early on in the game. He like the rest of them are all human. We have a lot of time to find his failings. We all have them.
To be honest, I wondered why they keep bringing Coach back. He's a pain in the rear end. Talks only about himself, like he's king. I kinda got a chuckle out of that one guy who rolled his eye when Coach started in on one of his almighty speaches. That guy changed the subject very quick to something relavant to what they needed to do now they are back at camp. I don't see Coach staying for long. Hopefully the show will stop asking for him to return.
Ozzie! I remember him now! So far, he's my favorite to win. As a person, he seems ready to work as a group. He wants peace not war. He does not stand up and dictate to the others what needs to be done even though the group looks in his direction for guidance.
Why that one lady broke down was odd to me... I find it more peaceful to sleep on a makeshift bed on the ground with weather as good as they had it that first night. And just for the group wanting to go for a dip did not mean that she had to as well. She could have stayed and found things for bedding... then that one guy could have had company. Who knows, he might have had good tips on how to build a bed. LOL.

There are a few people I believe I like right now.
The asian young lady who stayed back with coach when the rest of his tribe snubbed him. I like her for her decency.
The guy who spoke up to the girl who was voted off. I believe he might be live wire but a natural leader.
The Rancher.. Boy got Skills.
The nerd Cochran is not long for this world.. Sorry, I do not see him as an asset.
Little Hanz, I just feel he is one of those who throws around the name of lord to try to convince others he is good but his actions make him just seem to be so untrustworthy. If he wanted to hide those Tattoo's he could have had them removed prior to the show. Or he could just say that they are tattoo's from a past mistake. Just the honesty would have seemed better than what I am seeing and hearing from him right now. I have not seen nor heard his true faith on the show but will give him that benefit of the doubt. I am just one who feels if someone has to say it over and over and over, then they are hiding something.

I hope she goes far. She's my second favorite so far. eeek... I didn't care for him. He was too rude. I mean how can HE feel bad when he didn't do anything to feel that way. It was that girls fault. Then when she had the courage to admit that they lost due to her owl shortcommings that she sort of felt bad, he rubbed salt in her wounds. Not a good person to me. I think he should have kept his mouth shut and still voted her off. Yeah... she did make them loose.. so I agree she should have gone.. It was his bad attitude that I didn't like even more. They didn't really show much of him. I'll need another episode to get to know him better. ;D I also agree.... now watch. They will keep him around because they think noone will vote for him. LOL |

For anyone else who might be wondering, yes Survivor is to be shown on Wednesdays.
The time change occurred last season and they have decided to stay there. Shame I preferred the Thursday time slot.

Odd, this season I do not mind Coach so much. Maybe he has learned from his prior errors. Some people can change, others like Brendan Hanz fool others into believing he is serious about change.

I don't have to be attracted to them to know that... ;D And I caught that too. Then turned around and tried to turn odds in his favor by sticking his foot in his mouth. Shows, don't lie to people. They will learn NOT to trust you after that. But I would not call him a pervert just for being attracted to someone. That is a natural thing for all humans. I just call him weak for not trusting himself with her around. And it's ALL in his head. She's not doing a thing to deserve this. Poor girl. She can't help it that she is strong AND pretty to the point that men feel threatened by her being herself. I hope she makes it far in the game. Actually Christine is right and has been from the very first day. Coach and Ozzie should be a target due to the fact that they all want to win the game, why would you want to go up against a pro? It makes no sense to keep them around until you have gotten the basics down on how to survive. As for the mouthy one already voted off first, I hope she does go out of the two. I hope they keep Brendan around a bit... at least just for the laughs. He cracks me up. ;D And yes, I know that is mean for me to say. Well, I've learned something from watching Survivor and really listening to those who return on the last day's vote as well as those who return to play again. It's all in the editing what they will allow the audience to see. I've seen some players I liked a lot return and be disgusting and clingy. Then Coach seemed to be a completely different person the second time around... stars in his eyes and no puffy chest while he glorified only in himself like he was in the first round. That is back yes... the stupid dragon slayer. I roll my eyes and still can't wait for him to go home. He's taking up way too much airtime from the rest of them. I yawn when he's on and roll my eyes. I see his whole ploy to find honourable people to rise up and be a true competitor in this game baloney. I don't see this game as an honourable one... and I most definately do not trust him any more than I can throw him.... and he being a big guy... that is not far. At least we will get a break as long as they keep that marijuana guy around. He does not take time to listen to Coach anymore than I would. I crack up every time he rolls his eyes and changes the subject... Notice the tribe agrees who is worth listening to? LOL! |

;D Are you alright Duddhas? I know I got a kick outta watching PapaBear run off into the woods like that. I thought, if he had that much oomph during challenges he would not be in this position. Yep... he's a gonner. As for telling the truth. Brandon just can't win for nothin. First he tells everyone how much of a good person he is.... Then he keeps a secret about who he is until it bugs him too much. He had to tell Coach so to have a little honesty. THEN shoots himself in the foot by telling a lie to try to manipulate everyone. THen he comes out in counsil and fesses up to his wrong doing. Now he's got people looking at him strangely. Then he freaks out when the girl he tried to get voted off the show simply asks him why he didn't like her. HE CANT even tell HER the truth that he's got the hots for her and it's killing him because he's a married man..  My goodness guy.. just freak out a little more... Oh WAIT!!! And that he does.. Just comes out and tells the WHOLE tribe who he is. Now no one knows what to make of him. They all think he's a freak. I think he's alienated everyone and he'll be voted off pretty soon. All through this last show I kept thinking how much of a nutjob he is. He needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut. As for Coach!  I was blown away. I know I can't recall him to be one for strength at challenges. He never was a straggler who brings down the tribe in challenges either. This time he shined. I was amazed. I know he impressed everyone on his tribe too. Now I'll admit I always thought he needs to learn to keep his big mouth shut too. He drives me nuts always talking about himself... like he's King Coach. I think he'd like that title to tell the truth. You know my wish about this whole Redemption Island deal? Once you have two people there, they compete. One goes home and I wish the other could reenter the game immediately. I would say... they would have to have some sort of blind test... say a two sided coin toss... each with a different color on each side... OR they reach into a wooden vase and pull out the color of the scarf thingy they use. This would determine which tribe they would get sent to immediately. That would shake things up. Then after tribal, they would have to wait two games.... for two more people to be sent to redemption island and compete again. This way you would have people going back and forth from both tribes and you never know what could happen at that? Would they spy for the team they were voted from if they are sent to the other tribe? OR would they dish out all of the goods on the tribe that voted them off. So much more of a bigger picture to think about in the game. |

Yep.... once more somebody called him a nut. ;D Funny thing.... I half expected that one guy to tell Hanz that Coach has been keeping a bit of information from him.... allowing him to believe a LIE.... just to teach him that Coach is not someone to put your loyalty in after all. Can you imagine how Hanz would have voted OR how Coach would have felt if someone would have let that slip during council tonight? Now to ruin that drama, I predict that Coach will come clean and tell the whole group that he has the idol. Worse... ONLY because he believes he has integrity. And if he were to ONLY tell Hanz, he knows that he's not someone to trust secrets with... that his secret would have been told to ALL so this is why I believe he will have to fess up. NOW.... Let's see if Coach has the "loyalty" "honesty" and "integrity" that he claims to have. stay tuned.  OH and ps.... I do agree with them all... Hanz will be voted off soon just because he can't keep his big mouth shut. They will have to do it just to get him out of the picture. So his days are numbered. |

What an idiot Ozzie was for telling the whole tribe that he had the idol. That boy threw a grade A hissy fit. I mean come on already, man it up and stop the whimpering.
