Just a few more weeks and a new edition of Survivor will be amongst us..
Don't know how I am going to handle it changing to Wednesdays though. That is the night of our Town Hall Meetings twice a month....
Guess I am going to have to DVR it...
Until then Big Brother and America's Got Talent are going to have to keep me busy...
Shame they got rid of Brendan last week. Thought he was a great player. The Meow Meow is funny as all get out though..... Foe Getta Boutit....

Yeah.. I know I liked it better that it was on Thursday nights too. My daughter has a girls night events that she goes to every Wednesday night and this is when I"m on the road back from getting her. Hubby and I have often rewatched some episodes the very next day when they have it up on the internet... on their official site. He just hooks up his laptop to the big TV in the living room... and we will watch it when we feel like it. Less commercials that way too. Still, there is nothing better than watching it the first time it airs. I"m so glad you started this thread.

So what are some of everyone else favorite T.V. Shows?
I love Top Chef, Project Runway and Mad Men right now. All time favorite show-Andy Griffith! Because I work 3-11 shift, there's a lot of shows I don't see unless I tape them, so I miss out on some. But my sister has been a big fan of Survivor every since it started and never misses it.

Well... I don't see any reason why not to start threads to talk about them as well. I know another mutual friend who really is a huge Andy Griffith fan. And I too can add to that thread. As for the others on your list.. I have only heard of Top Cheff, but never seen it. Hmm... Since I have missed out on a lot of years.. I can only talk about the last few seasons.. I used to watch from the very beginning.. but they seemed to want to shed their clothes a bit too soon and I didn't want to watch much after that... lost interest.. but since they started to clean things up a bit.. Use the little fuzzyout button. LOL! Then give them bandanas... By the way, when did they start doing that? And the players began to wise up and bring bathing suits instead of running round in their undies only.. good grief. Anyway... I've been in a love/hate fan of Russell. He's such a meany.. but knows almost how to play the game.. He gets to the end but does not know how to keep from ticking off the jurythat he does not understand his cunning rubbed the wrong people wrong and they did not like it. He was not the perfect player, but a very stratgic one. Who was your favorite Good guy of all time, and why?

;D So are you going to be for the Old Geezers or the young whippersnappers?

I do not know yet... I have to see the people who represent the teams to start with.
I have a tendency to say the whippersnappers but in the promo the guy they have speaking for them comes across as a real butt head.. But then again, too often I find the Oldsters of the game to be a bunch of cranks...

OH who was that guy... The old school teacher with the grey hair and the bow tie? You know the one who started creating fake idols? Brilliant move.... I just loved that guy and was so glad that he won. He's one of the good ones.
Randy... I'm glad they voted him off that last season early. I couldn't stand him from the earlier time he was on. Grrr.
But Yeah.. I agree with you. We do need to see the cast and get to know them first before I can say who I really want. Right now.. since If I were on there I'd go for the older group.. but still that is subject to change if they are as you say... a bunch of cranks.

I was telling my sister she would love this thread because she's a Survivor fan. She says she thinks the bow tie is named Bob and that he's from our home state of Maine!!

Maybe since we know that we will be coming here to talk about this show... maybe we need to do a sort of tag... or say "Seen IT" before we get into commenting... Just to keep from posting Spoilers.
I know I watch this show faithfully... Who else here might be needing to yell out that they have seen it.. before we begin a chat of sorts? I know I for one DID see tonight's episode.. but Wednesday will sometimes be hard and I won't get to watch it until the next day when they allow it to be seen via the internet... So??? What says you guys?

I hate to say this, but I DVR'd it to watch on Thursday Night. It was afterall the final of Big Brother and the Final of America's Got Talent.
None of my favorites won on either of those shows anyway and it seems like a night of nothing but disappointment.

Well.... I'm not going to mention spoilers... but really... I think the first ten minutes of the show was the best part. LOL! You made a better choice to watch the others and record this last night.
Or... maybe I miss Russell? ;D Yeah right!!!!

Now you know that I really liked Russell... He played better than any other Survivor in the history of the show.. Shame was that he also alienated himself from the viewers by virtue of his own actions.
Good thing he was already a Millionaire and did not really need the money..

Well... after a while the members of his own tribe even saw through him... I would be glad to see him pop up there on the show again... But knowing him... he'll demand TERMS before he'd go up there again. LOL!. I hope you enjoyed last nights show... I'm thinking about tuning in and wathing it again online. I wonder if I still have the link? Yep here it is... www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/

Tell me about it... I hope things pick up with this season... It's off to a rocky start. BUT even though I don't watch football.. never watched a single game in my life... I've seen that coach on television before. He really does seem down to earth. I"m not sure if he's my favorite yet or not... lets see how things go. Then I felt bad for him when he got sick. My hubby does that sometimes when working outside in the heat... over doing things. Glad he's feeling better now.
Fabio? Good grief! ;D
Still... I'm glad the right person went home. Once she began talking... even I said, "OH nooo." Esh. Here I thought I was bad. ;D
