OH NO! Honestly, I like Matt, but he turns out to be a dumb bell! A nice kid but a Dumb bell none the less. Poor thing just could not keep his yap shut. Must have been because he was alone so long that he just had to blurt everything out all at once. But to ROB? TO ROB who arranged for him to be thrown out the very first vote anyway? Oh come on, how dumb can you be to sit down and then tell Rob how you had worked out this whole idea of how to vote him off! It is one thing to come clean, it is yet another to just shoot ones self in the foot.... ;D Yeah I agree here. I kept saying he's NOT .... oh no... he IS. I do see that he is following his heart but I think he is forgetting the fact that this is a game. He does not have to be dishonest, still, he could keep his plans to himself. Even his girl seems to be seeing him for being a bit flighty. Oh well. He should not have forgotten about what the two of them discussed about keeping their ideas just to themselves. After all, his decision about telling Rob also affected her game plan. Hopefully he won't be seeing her next on redemption island. OK... I do have a little laugh going on here when it comes to Matt. I really can see where his faith has led him to try to be OPEN and honest. I lie of omission is still a lie. But in this game it's NOT a lie... it's called a game plan. Now for the funny thought I have. He really could still be right. His lord put him there. Who's to say that this is to KEEP him from getting all caught up in all of the sneeky, decieving, coniving ways of the rest of the players? He really could be being put on Redemption Island to save him for the last and not have to put up with the balony of the rest of the players until there at the end? ;D Yes and I'm seeing that his way of playing the game is quite unique. So many times over the past seasons, I wondererd why no one ever did this or that... Then here comes Rob and doing JUST THAT. I think TOO many people talk too much. They would do much better to keep some secrets to only themself... NOT tell a single soul. That is where they keep messing up. I wonder if Rob ever WILL spring the idol on them? i47.TP .com/3x0mh.gif[/img] If he does, I'll bet he'll shock the pants off everyone. You are so mean. No... but there was a time when he gave his word. Yes he wasted it when he could have saved it... but didn't Mike think he was up for getting voted off? His friend was paranoid that he was leaving. Are you talking about Mike? I thought Phillip was the Iraqi war hero? YOu know he's so irritating that he will last a long time.

OR, just maybe Matt's lord is trying to show him that he is a very nice Dumb Bell?

Now that was an odd show, two of the strongest voted off. I figured they were next to go but now 3 on the Isle? What gives there?
Also, I may be wrong but I am getting the feeling that there is going to be a blind side against Rob in the next week or two... Just a gut feeling that he is too smug and the others might not wish for him to stay in too much longer.

I thought this might have happened back AFTER he told them that they are not allowed to eat and they chose NOT to because he said NO. I thought that one guy who did go for a bite would be on Rob's list... BUT nothing happened. He has everyone so wrapped around his little finger. I know it's a matter of time when someone might break. The commercials are hinting that this might happen.. 'Will he continue his Godfather type rule over his tribe or will they get tired of it? OR will he finally win?' Tell me... was this HOW he played back in his first season? I can't remember him back then. My wish is for one of the girls on his team to find where he hid his idol and KNOW that it was his.. that he hid it from the rest of them. I wonder why no one has yet to mention that it's never been found this season from their side? Not one person has talked about it, and they KNOW it's in the game to be played this season. I know I KNOW... ROB tells them it's not important. That to me shows they ought to by now have figured out that HE might just be the one who has it. It's a dead give away. I'd love for a perfect blindside where he knows nothing... where he will not feel the need to go dig it up and bring it to council for him to use. Oh that would be beautiful. As for the other team... They have no hope... OH and I doubt it will be Phillip going home soon even though he's lost his mind. I don't think it's an act. I laughed because what I have been saying since day one, all of the things Phillip mentions are his accomplishments... WHY are they all mentioned as in the past tense? It's as though they caught on to the real person that he is so found a reason to push him out of those fields of business'. Julie mentioned that last week too. My question now..... WILL anyone lend Phillip a pair of shorts? That loincloth deal will not last.

We can only hope... but for some reason since they didn't do it already back when he didn't allow them to eat... would they turn on him? I doubt it would be any time soon. Really, that girl with the dark brown hair seems to be more devoted to him than anyone else. I don't think he realizes it. With that said, I don't think the others realize she's gone behind THEIR backs and tried to make even some of their own group look bad to Rob. She's going to be the one to make or break any blindside.

We are now getting down to the nitty gritty on Survivor.
I have to say that Rob earned where he has the immunity idol and still being on the show.
He could so easily have gone the way of Russell but he has hung in there. I do not think Rob is going to want to take Grant to the final 3 with him. He is just too strong and potentially will get the good guy vote.
Phil is not just an idiot, he is a SUPER IDIOT. I understand the game he is playing but he is clearly playing with FIRE and I can not see him getting any votes in the end. NOT ONE.
The girls are what are the make or break in the game at this point. If one decides to follow Grant, it is all over for Rob. If they continue to follow Rob, it is curtains for Grant who will be forever known as one of the best players to have not won.
I honestly thought that Mike has proven himself a full on threat too out on Exile Island. He is someone who could throw the monkey wrench into the whole thing.

OH man.... even though I don't want Rob to win, I'll have to agree he earned that immunity idol full out. I was worried about him. Remember when he passed out the last season he was on the show? Still, he bounced back. I think this time around, he came to this season in much better shape. This time so he could be a formidable player. Then with his battle plan... Yes for him, that is a superb plan and what's more? It is working.
Yeah... I came to the conclusion Phillip really is pretending for the most part to be an idiot... maybe not all pretending but most of the time. BUT as you said, his plan is working to help further him to the end, but he's playing with fire.
Then that guy who gave up seeing his own mom to allow the bad guys to once again take advantage of the good guys... Well, I agree with Matt. Matt learned the hard way to give kindness and charity towards that group only to be laughed at and sent back to exile is not warranted to play this game. Hopefully his plan to do this to get votes in the end works. He deserves it. Still, I think what's his name, should have learned from Matt's experience. Still, it's only eight more days until they all are reunited with their loved ones. Oh well. I think his name is Mike... Well, I hoped he was the one to go home a couple of show ago.. I've changed my mind when I saw this, he too really deserves to have a chance to win.
OK.... now with all of that said, I have an idea as to what we will soon see.
First, notice how the bad guys tribe seem to not be looking ahead NOR to what the game makers are doing. It was like exile island is a holding place for those in hot water.. YES they SEE that... but we only have eight days left and more and more people seem to be sent and stay there on that island.
SO, my theory, the merge put them together, BUT exile island is only reseparating the tribe again. they are almost at equal numbers as if there were no merge. Rob's tribe seem to be blinded thinking they are the only ones who really are about to win the game as a whole. I see two teams in the future going up against each other. Who's to say that a team of three will not be the team that goes to final council to be chosen for the winner once and for all? We just don't have enough days to widdle the numbers down to three unless a large number goes all at once.
Can't wait to see next week.

WOW! I did not see that one coming.. NOT GRANT! I do not think that was such a smart idea of Rob's.
He really should have broken up the two girls.
Now he has a Two against Two vote and if Phillip votes with the girls, Rob is a goner.
Well, some people are meant to always be the Bridesmaid!

Congratulations to Rob on a near perfectly played game.
Honestly, I lost so much respect near the end for Matt who can take his holier than though attitude and go to the bank and now ask for a loan to pay for his future.
Grant, who I had always liked and respected until the end, showed he was truly a loser who could not understand or fathom the difference between a game and real life actions. I personally might try to destroy you in a game of chess but I would not be like that in my day to day life. This is what Rob proved, he is a true gentleman and a master of manipulation of the game. That does not mean squat when it comes to his real or home life and those who lost along the way in the game who can not recognize this fact are just angry that they lost and are trying to justify their own lack of ability.

Yeah, I sort of agree on the Grant thing. He really did need to wake up and realize that this was a game and as they say on Highlander... "There can be only one!" I think really he didn't expect to be voted off so soon. That he and Rob were in it until the end. But what he should have noticed was this was exactly what Rob was telling ALL in their group. What made him think he would be any different? Then didn't he realize that HE, Grant was a bigger threat to go up against in the final three? Why did he expect Rob to allow the bigger threat to make it to win. I know I never would have voted for Natalie. She was only along for the ride. She did nothing but do everything Rob asked of her. Nothing for herself. I don't think she earned her place.... Still, as with so many people who come back on the last episode for the reveal in the US... They seem to normally bury the hatchet even when I think they might never from the way they played the game. As you said, Grant should forgive and remember why they were all there for that whole time. What I do like is how Rob really did see Grant as a friend.... a true friend. That never wavered. I believe him ordering Grant's name to be written down, was the hardest part he had to go through during this whole season.
SO...... Do you see Russell comeing back again? I'm on fence on that one.
Who do you think will be the two to return for the next season? I"m not even sure if both of the two will be from this last season... maybe one, then the other from another season past. I can see Matt would play a very different game if he is the one. Then... I can't help but say this.. the first girl voted off who called Phillip crazy on the first episode could return. I'd like that, but not too sure they would do it.

www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/So... Coach is back. Good grief. But what else do I see? Russell's nephew? I wonder what sort of player he'll turn out to be? Also, I wonder if he'll shoot himself in the foot and tell everyone who his uncle is? ;D

Oh great. now I have to go take a peek to see what they have in the way of video's... ads.... whatever. I don't have the television on that much to see the channel and so I keep missing the ads. Good grief! Where do they dig these people up? I already know who I am rooting for. I had to laugh at some of the comments at the bottom of the page from fans. Cowboy Rick? When I saw the clips I said to myself, he's going to be one of the first few to go. I didn't see anyone else who seemed like would jump off of the screen as a good winner. I guess watching the first show would help things. Oh and who in the world is Ozzie?

Who is Ozzie, WHO IS OZZIE? ? What rock have you been living under missy. Ozzie is one of the greatest Survivor players never to win... This is now his fourth try... He is an animal that can climb trees to get coconuts, he can catch fish with nothing but his bare hands, he can ligth a fire just by staring hard enough at the wood... Ok that was a bit, but he really is impressive. you will see. GO OZZIE, he is always a good guy, decent and not into hurting people. That is why he is such a threat. The viewers of the show LOVES their OZZIE.. Oh by the way there is some really risque vids of him in the shower nude on the net, so the girls have fallen extra in love with him due to what they call his extra curricular abilities. I do not want to see or know but I have been told. TMI!
