one of my friends in the US sent me a package of cards tucked in a christmas card. i was pleasantly surprised!! they are about the same size and shape as sport (baseball, etc) cards. i didn't open the package, though, just like some of my action figures, i left them in the packaging.
i have almost finished my PSP HP lego game. just 5 more wizard hats to find. they're all in year 2 and i'm having a time trying to find them!!

I think I actually have a few of those cards.. not enough to make a full set.. but I was more into collecting the Star Trek cards than anything.. Oh and several sets from movies from long ago. EA Games... Now that I have things pretty much settled down for this site... and I'm finally out from under the weather. LOL.. Just a few things to tend to here as for muggle cleaning goes. I FINALLY have time to go play my HP games. SInce I remember correctly out of the two I have... you guys have said that the COS one is more fun than the SS one? I'll probably start with that one... or should I start at the very beginning?.. maybe something I should learn to do on the first one that I will need to know HOW to do for the rest? Please... advice. Really I think they might stand on their own.. but I just hope to make sure first.

YOu know what? This IS fun! It reminds me of my favorite video game... 'Monsters Inc.' for playstation2. All of these rooms to go into.. collect the bertie botts.. fight the firecrabs... I'm having a time getting the ones on the side to go into the spot within the wall. I traded some botts for some flobberworm goo...or something like that. I"m just feeling my way around. And it was not as hard to get used to using the arrow buttons in place of the traditional joystick controlers. Thanks Erin, Duddah... This really will keep me busy for some time to come.

Yep, love those games... What is so funny is that I actually get verdigo while playing them. Especially two of the games...
The thing about the first game that I always had trouble with is that I fly very poorly and there is a section in the SS game where you have to fly a great deal. It took me weeks to master it and for some reason it was not really fun for me to fly... Just stress.

OH no.... I have had games do that to me too... even some movies I have to look away from the screen just to keep from getting that feeling. Thanks for the warning... BUT then I expected going to see Avatar in 3D would have caused me to have problems yet it didn't. Still... thanks for the heads up.

i've never had vertigo playing games. if you experience vertigo, i recommend you stop playing and go back later. in fact, video games can send epileptics into a seizure!!

Well I get Vertigo watching some movies or television shows where things move too fast.. Helecopter scenes or scenes where they change the focus lense... or sometimes you see an arial shot where the camera goes around a person or object. but strange enough.. in life never. And I have actually been up in a helecopter.. and ride the rollercoasters with the loop-de-loops... and have a ball.. no vertigo there. Even on top the tallest building in Vegas.. no problem. Although.. hubby finds it amusing that I can't look at someone wearing pinstripes.. They make me dizzy and my eyes become all screwy. ;D Video games... I can't recall too many that have done that to me. But then again.. I have yet to get to that flying scene that Duddahs was talking about.. Sounds like I just might.

you lot...almost everyone gets an odd sensation while watching fast action, sudden angle changes, etc. your body reacts seemingly in sympathy. it's like some years ago, i watched a rollercoaster on the IMAX...and you had an inside the ride view and my stomach did a flip ;D i love rollercoasters, but even the most fearless of us do have a bodily reaction now back to HP ;D i'm still looking for those stupid wizard hats in year 2. if anyone has the PSP game and has found all hats in year 2...please PM me. HEEEELLP! (oops, should have posted this at the HP lego thread...but it's here and it's staying)

OK.... I might be premature in asking this without checking it out first... But over this past week while I was in limbo without my internet service up and running... My daughter wanted to finally play those HP EA games. I stuck in COS one for this computer... Well, she kept playing until it was time for us to go.. She could not find the option where to save the game so she just left it... Are there intervals where we are asked if we want to save the game or continue on to the next part? It's been a while since I played it and I still am learning my way around these games too.

Here is the link to Harry Potter World online. They have the absolute best walk through for all the formats.. I try not to use them until I am at the end of my wits though. harrypotterworld.us/news.php

I got The Deathly Hallows game today, after playing for an hour it's meh.......it's ok but it might get better when I get deeper into the story and for ps3 graphics it's ok, similar to the ps2 graphics which i'm a little disappointed at. Overall I'm sure I'll enjoy it :-)

Yeah... I"ve wondered if the DH one was any good. Thanks
OH and thanks for the link Duddah. I don't want any spoilers.. I did find out the answer to my question I asked a while back... Turns out the game automatically saves it's self so if you just stop playing it picks up where you left off if you want it to.
Daughter has to play the COS one we have, every time she comes over here and she's far beyond where I got to. For us, it's still new since we didn't get to play it when we first bought it. Again... thanks Erin for your help. *wink*

I can't play HP anymore, this game was a huge disappointment....worst game ever the graphics are good but the game play is boring and repetitive and Harry's moaning when he gets hit by a spell is annoying, I regret buying this game

I got DH for Christmas...it's fun enough, but a little too "aim and shoot" for my taste. I like that they put some things in the game that were in the book, but not the movie. I don't like all the added "War play" that isn't a part of either the movie, or the book. I keep getting killed and having to start back at the beginning of the level I'm on. I would rather follow the story, than keep on fighting DEs to save muggle-borns.

I did enjoy it and play them just for the pure fun. I do not try to compare the Harry Potter games to other games or their quality.. I just sit back and try to get to the end and if I can, then I just start all over again... That is what I get for knowing next to nothing about computers. I just enjoy the games... Especially Chamber of Secrets and Order of the Phoenix games.. Still my favorites!
