Another scene from PS/SS before I forget:
The scene where Harry brings Hedwig out into a snow-covered courtyard during winter and lets her fly away. It's so fitting, considering Hedwig is a snowy owl.

I never noticed that about Hogsmeade always snowing, that's cool NZ.
I love that snowball fight too, especially the look on Malfoy's face.

Another wintry scene, remember how they weren't supposed to be at Hagrid's and they left their footprints in the snow and Hermione had to magic them away? Don't remember which book/movie that was though.

Don't remember which book/movie that was though. I think that was from OOTP Fangsfan, but I remember Hermione removing footprints from snow in DH as well. I'll have to look it up... |

Okay so Hermione did use the same "Obliterarion Charm" as its known, in OOTP to remove the trio's prints on their way back from Hagrid's, and in DH when her and Harry were visiting Godric's Hollow. Looks like it came in handy a lot!  |

There's another scene. When Harry and Hermione are walking through Godric's Hollow on Christmas Eve, I think. Such a big moment for the film/book series and an equally nice "winter" moment, with the snow and church music playing.

Oh I love that scene at the church on Christmas Eve, and very snowy too. And thanks for the research NZ, I had forgotten that footprint scene was in two books.

I wonder when the wizards make snowmen do they make them like we do or do they make them in shapes of famous wizards like Merlin or Dumbledore?

Another thing I'd like about winter at Hogwarts-they must have spells to put on candles so they won't go out. I love the look and smell of real candles.

Hmmm, yeah probably Fangsfan, and maybe even in the shape of creatures or house-elves too. I always imagined that they would bewitch their snowmen to have snowball fights with each other, or use spells during their snowball fights. Their fights would probably be a lot "cooler" that Muggle ones. |

Duddahs is experiencing one of those snow storms right now!
Just finished decorating outside @ 4am for tonights big holiday party for Duddahs friends...
Some people pub crawl while Duddahs and friends go from house to house.
It will start at Duddahs nest, with home made Guacamole and chips, Shrimp Cocktail and home made Buffalo Wings along with spiked Wassail, and Pear Nector Martini's!
With all of the snow that has come and will continue until Sunday mid day, it is going to be a truly festive night.

I love that idea Duddahs, I think I remember you mentioning that before, is it something you do every year? I think it would be so much fun to do that. Our snow hasn't started yet, I have to check outside again in a sec.

Bewitch your snowball so it shoots straight up in the air and plops down on the top of your opponents head.

Wizard snowball fights:
Make your snowballs zoom toward your opponent and then boomarang right back to you. They will think you have messed up your spell and while they're cracked up laughing-cream em!
