Well... obviously there is a strong theme of quills... We have named several.. But I am wondering if we might be putting the answers into the wrong question? Still... This one sticks out from the crowd... A quill has no gender but the giver does. 2. I am but a male for all I pray they see, my plumage is brilliant what type of tool might I be?I want to say Fawkes... But I also get a hint that saying Male might be a twist. Could this be Lockhart's peacock feather quill ... the one he uses to sign autographs?

Please do try again. And as a small hint, Think first of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.. For its feather was plucked and in Harry's writing its legacy has been saved.

Is this the maze in the Triwizard Tournament?
Fawkes, I logged on to thank you and say how much I enjoyed the first one, and say I hoped you'd do another-only to find one was already up. This looks like another toughie but I'll keep guessing-thanks for doing these!

This sounds like the Triwizard Tournament's contestants... The Durmstrang and the Beaubaton students... then the near would be Hogwarts contestants.

1.My end came about a long time ago, while the deaths arose right under their nose. But I have returned I am proud to say but for some reason there is one too many too play.
Is it possible this is the Goblet of Fire itself? It wasn't used for a long time because of deaths in the tournament-and the one too many could be Harry-the extra champion in the tournament.
