That is very kind of you Fawkes.
5. Ignorant, damaged and crazed most would say, to abuse creatures and others is just this deviant’s way.
I'm going to say this is Tom Riddle Jr., while he was at the orphanage. If I remember correctly, he did abuse creatures while he was there.

Alas NZ, Tom Riddle Jr. it is not but a close relative may be just the ticket you sought.. For a nail upon a door and a slamming of a head on the floor should show you this brute and his evil, ignorant core.

Where is Fangsfan when we need her... She's good at these. 3. Not one, not two but three they say, came to an untimely end one very strange day. I know this has to be wrong... but when I think of THREE people sort of dying on the same night... My mind goes towards Lily and James and Voldemort... even though he was already mentioned as well as he really didn't end now did he? I"ll think some more.

Okay I'm going to say Morfin Gaunt. After a quick search in HBP, I discovered a conversation between Cecilia and Tom Riddle Sr., saying that Morfin nailed a snake to his front door.

I do have a guess for this although not at all sure it's correct. Since I know Miss C is really busy and she said something about wishing I was here earlier, I'm hoping she won't mind if I try. I wondered if this was when all three Riddles died and Frank Bryce was originally blamed for it-we know it turned out to be Tom Jr (LV) who killed them. They all three died at once, it was an untimely end since it was a murder, and it was a strange day as nobody could figure out how they died. Not sure at all if it's correct though!
PS: Fawkes I loved what you said about loving the wrong answers too. I know when I guess wrong, it's fun to keep guessing and getting more clues til you figure it out-the "Aha Moment"! So I think the wrong answers are fun too.

Hey Fangsfan... Thanks for getting that. Really they did occur to me, but I was going to have to remind myself of how many Riddles were there. For some reason I was thinking only two people were killed.. DUH. I forgot about his dad.. I did keep the grandparents in mind. It was one of those brainfart sort of days for me huh? ;D Fawkes... we too look forward to your next puzzle.

I have an idea as to what the theme of this Quiz might be-but usually when I think that I am wrong! This sounds like it could be the classroom where Potions class is held-Snape's dungeon?
