I still see Quidditch balls of sorts. I guess since you said my pervious answer was incorrect that you must be looking for a specific ball to be named. So....

I want to ask if it could possibly be a Quaffle? Still, that only fits for the first part and not the last. You can't play ANY of the game unless you have all of the balls for there. Maybe it's the person you are looking for? I normally skip over reading the Quidditch parts of the books...

Well, I see that the one who is named after a flower and a color has you run a stray. But to see it you might mix Red and Blue then call it a day. Oh the last of her name is like dirt some may say, but shades of it like Chocolate will make you scream hurray.

Ok.... my first thought.. mainly went with the first part having to do with things that are "thrown."

I remember Hermione had birds fly/attack Ron even though they were not thrown, it sort of to me looked like they would go together with the rest of the riddle... SO, back to things thrown....

Pillows? can't be because they did that in the ROR and Flitwick's class instead of the Gryffindor common room.

You already said it was not Quidditch balls. I thought they would tie in with the rest of the answers having to do with weather.
