The other day, hubby brought home a couple of frozen pizza's. Even when we order out I seem to get a pizza all to myself. Hubby and daughter love pineapple on their pizza, where I scrunch up my face at the thought.
So, usually, I get pepperoni with mushroom. Sometimes if we get a third topping I might choose onion too. Well, the other day, he THOUGHT he brought home pepperoni when in fact it was brautwurst. Weird, it was interesting to say the least. I would not scrunch up my nose if that was set before me again.

LOL Just reading through, as I had forgotten all about this thread!
When I came to Boston for grad school, I lived in the North End...which is Boston's Little Italy. Our apartment was right across from a bakery that cooked delicious breads and pizzas...my bedroom window opened out almost right across from it. Oh the delicious smells coming from there...and they were open until 2 in the morning...even had a little serving window you could order from. They had some of the neatest pizza toppings...breaded chicken and such...it was like having an entire dinner on your pizza. Their bread was heavenly, too. My room would smell like it....yum!!!
Memories! Erin

Sounds so good, I have always wanted to see Little Italy. My sister made homemade pizza tonight. It had whole wheat dough, three cheeses, shrimp and black olives. Delicious-fun posting on this thread again too!

Every other Friday, we have Pizza take out at Duddahs nest. Sometimes he even makes Pizza from scratch, ok, Duddahs buys the pizza dough from a pizza parlor around the corner.
Normally, we have take out from one of 3 great Pizza restaurants. The area of Connecticut Duddahs resides in is famous for some of the country's most prized pizza restaurants. Duddahs personally does not like either, Pepe's or Sally's both of which are not only locally famous, they have been featured on many TV shows etc.
There is a very long established restaurant in Bridgeport Connecituct called Arthurs Famous Pizza, well they are indeed famous and have been written up as one of the best of the bests by the New York Times and other very respected publications.
Arthurs Famous Pizza only comes in one size, it is an 8" pie with super thin and extremely crisp crust from their over a half century old brick oven. There is nothing like having an established oven, pans and wood pulls to make that something special about a pizza.
Now, Arthurs is located in a less than desirable area of an already sketchy city. Once it was a very ethnically integrated neighborhood only to have fallen into great disrepair surrounding this gem. Still, Duddahs makes the trek downwtown Bridgeport to get the best Meatball Grinders and Pizza he can locate within a 40 mile radius.
Duddahs does have a little thing about going into the Bronx New York where one of the country's best pizza restaurants is. Good thing that Duddahs Orthopedic Surgeon is also located in the Bronx, makes a good reason to look forward to seeing ones Dr.!
Then there is one more Pizza restaurant, well a full restaurant that also makes one of the best thin crust pizza you will ever put into your mouth. It is is called Siena Restaurant on Federal Hill (Little Italy of Providence Rhode Island).
Duddahs loves going into New York to eat at Little Italy but he finds that Providence Rhode Islands, Federal Hill has some of his favorite Italian restaurants, and Duddahs all time favorite market which is also on Federal Hill, it is called Venda Ravioli. Duddahs makes the 2 hour plus each way drive every other month to buy his favorite fresh Italian delicacies. Their home made pasta and breads are a must, their cold cuts are to die for, specialty prepared dishes that will make even the most jaded palate wish to go back time and again. If it is real Italian, Venda Ravioli has it!

Hey guys! I wonder if they ever get pizza at Hogwarts? Oh well, be careful. This one's hot. Help yourself. It has your favorite toppings on it.... as little or as much as your heart desires. Eat up Lovegood Loungers. It's a brand new year!

Duddahs hopes the house elf’s have a brick oven. This ole bird loves a super crisp New York thin style cheese pizza. Every other Friday’s splurge along with an antipasto as the starter.

You are making my mouth water, Duddahs. Lots of good food around here, but a good thin-crust New York pizza....there's nothing like it!!! Erin
