My sis and I just got back from visiting family in Ct. Too tired to cook so went out for Greek pizza, which I think I've mentioned on this thread before. Ham, feta cheese, onions and greek olives, very yummy.

Popping in to say hi to miss c Waves back... It's good to have you here. I hope you have fun. So... what is YOUR favorite kind of pizza? ... Hmmm? Pizza huh? I have not heard from our friend Wormopolus in a while... He did tell me that he had one little tweek he wanted to do for us. I guess he just got busy. Isnt it weird that now when I think of pizza I think of Worm? ;D I did have a couple of slices of hamburger pizza the other day... I was not thrilled that that was the choice but it turned out pretty good after all.

Hi Bea,
Welcome!
Funny, I just had one of those Spicy Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a Cold Antipasto for dinner last night.
It was the absolute best one that they have ever made for me.. And that is saying something for the place where I get my Pizza from.
See, the owner lives in the Bronx, New York, home of the best thin crust Pizza's and he travels into my area every morning at 5 am via train laden down with the cheeses and goodies that he brings in from the New York markets fresh that morning, ever single day!
I was not lazy having the pizza, I was putting together all the ingredients for Lasagna which I just finished putting together and popped into the oven.. I have about a dozen friends coming over tonight as we normally get around 200 kids cause I live right on a park and the neighbor on the other side of the park puts on this massive Haunted House for everyone.. It takes them from August to the very night of Halloween to get it all together.
They were up all night still cutting wood and working with hammers and the such as we are experiencing some strong winds today.
He has a DEMENTOR which you have to walk under... It is about 30 feet high and a good 35 feet across from outstretched arm to outstretched arm. He has a tape up in the upstairs window making that horrid breath sucking sound that they make..
His son always has a chain saw that he jumps out of a ram shackled out house with and chases people..
They literally have about a dozen or so people working this thing and our local Police actually direct traffic for the event. It goes on till about 2 AM and was shown last year on the New York City and Connecticut newscasts!
Since it is right across the narrow section of the lake from me, I get the best view of everything! and the kids just walk right over to my home and my neighbors when they get done there. You see our places are connected by the sidewalk that circles the lake so it is a perfect way for them to hit both sides of the park too and get tons of candy..
We can get anywhere from 175 on a weak year up to 265 that we got last year.. Let me tell you this, we also give out some very good candy.. I get it at Costco in the Massive Bags.. Not the tiny stuff but the mid to large size bars and candies..
Well, I have all 5 of my Jack-O-Lanterns carved, C.J. already has his little devil ears and his red cape and pointed tail cover on.. You see, He dresses up as a Devil Dog...
As for me, What would I be? Nope not an Owl... I am HAGRID! My Jenn is Jessica Rabbit.. She has the Red Sequined skin tight dress and Red Wig all ready to go... See, Hagrid does get lucky!

Duddahs...that sounds like SO much fun!!! I wish we had kids come to our house...but just as yours gets lots of kids because of your location...ours doesn't. I know you've seen our town, and know that it's not a small town out in the country...it's just that we're on the industry side of town, and our nieghborhood of 7 houses is surrounded by businesses....so not much foot traffic here at all. I do wish we lived in a neighborhood where we could REALLY celebrate Halloween!

The other night, I took my daughter out to a new Pizza restraunt at the other end of my street. It's a nice mom and pop pizza place. I normally get the vegie pizza if I can. But I also love the barbecue pizza's out there. So this was the first time I went there... Instead of my usual, I chose the Portebello mushroom and ricotta cheese one. It was interesting. I think I'll try my usual next time. Daughter chose the barbecue, which is not her norm either. She normally always goes for none other than cheese. She hates any vegies and most meats. Funny. But she liked hers just fine.

Whoa.... The other day I ate a mushroom pizza and it was so good. But a few hours later I was sick as a dog. Oh why is it the good things seem to be things that don't agree with my tummy?

At the Fair today we had some pizza from Sunflower Farm which I had heard a lot of the girls from work raving about. Evidently they grind up sunflower seeds and use it in the dough. We had black olive and garlic pizza which was delish-I thought I know a place where I can post about this!

Black Olive and Garlic Pizza? Now that sounds so good. I've never had that combination. I'll tell you one thing. I LOVE PapaJohn's Pizza. But I've learned one thing. My favorite to get is alway cheezy mushroom. That is if I can not get the garden vegie pizza. Oh they load it with sliced fresh tomatoes... Mmmm... OK I got to quit this. Anyway, I've learned never to get just the cheezy mushroom one on a day that I work. I end up with tummy troubles and have to go home for eating bad pizza. They put those on the garden vegie one... why does that one not do me the same way as the cheezy mushroom one? Do you all have a PapaJohn's Pizzaria in your area, or is it only in my region?

I"m in the festive mood. I wonder if people could choose toppings that could make their pizza reflect the season....
Halloween.... Christmas..... Valentines day....
What would those toppings be?

Poor Duddahs is the most boring Owl in the world when it comes to Pizza.
Yes, he does so love his Buffalo Chicken Pizza and also loves Eggplant Pizza but it is what Duddahs loves as a Pizza most that makes him very happy though he so seldom has Pizza these days.
Margarita Pizza. It is simple... Sliced fresh Tomato's, fresh Mozzarella Cheese and fresh Basil. Salt, Pepper a little bit Garlic and that is pretty much it all on a super thin and very crusty flat-bread.
Fangsfan1, that Pizza sounds like a Party all by itself.
Hope your family from CT and your sister all had a great time with you...
