Thank you NZ..It was a great day, spent it working on the yard and house outside. The weather was spectacular and Duddahs is so happy with the results.. It was a wonderful birthday indeed.

have you guys ever heard of a piñata cake? You bake the cake (top half I used a round glass corningware bowl to make it dome shaped and the bottom regular round cake pan). Then you hollow out the dome top from the flat side. My daughter chose the same thing as those Bertie Botts jelly beans to put inside the already cooked and cooled cake. Once you put it all together and frost it, you cut it to have the jelly beans (or M & M's) will spill out like a piñata. Cool. It turned out perfect. I wish I could have baked one for you too Duddahs. sorry I didn't poke my head in here yesterday still, I want to wish you had a wonderfully happy birthday ever! |
