Something tells me that the Sorting Hat would play mind games on anyone attempting to kidnap it.. Oh can you imagine if someone didn't know that it was a magical hat and if they found it and it did something like that to them... I mean, it would KNOW that the person would not know what it truly was... it would have so much fun... and after all of those centuries of having to sit there on the shelf not getting to get out in the world, it would have a ball having an adventure messing with people's heads like this. This almost sounds like a fun writing assignment to hand out to see just it would do. The Sorted Adventures of the Sorting Hat.

What if Luna and Hermione switched places? Luna was sorted into Gryffindor and became best friends with Harry and Ron and Hermione in Ravenclaw and became friends with all of them about the time of the fifth book?

Oh, I think that the Luna, Hermione Frankenstein thing would be cool.
Just think, Ron would be smarter than Luna! Well, not really,I think Luna is really an idiot savant, much like Rainman... I love that movie so much and am a big ole fluffy owl every time Duddahs watches it... Especially loves the car! Jenn thinks Duddahs is a mush when he see's movies like this. She just sits in her chair smiling the entire time.. Duddahs knows she is laughing at him deep down inside but who cares.. Duddahs loves movies like this...

What if.... AND Thought for the day.... there were no houses at all... and never were? I wonder how the whole story would have played out? How would they have decided where the students have slept? Would they have been devided up in alphabetical order? Or ages? Or girls on one side where boys on the other? Would the families dominate depending upon their stature in the wizarding world? or their power they produce while they are learning while they are there in the school? How would this affect things after they leave the school?

What if Hagrid had married Madame Maxine. What do you believe their children would be like?

BIG kids! I think they'd also have strong spirits, love of nature, and hopefully a great home life with two loving parents.

What if Sirius had treated Kreacher kindly the way Harry did-would Kreacher have acted and felt differently towards him?

What if Merlin had lived and was actually alive and well the way he was at the end of the TV show of the same name.
Who do you believe he may have been in the world of Harry Potter?

I wonder what he would have thought of Harry Potter? Or what he would have thought of Albus Dumbledore? I honestly think they would have been friends.

What if Severus Snape had become a beloved Headmaster. Do you believe the other professors would have followed his leadership?

What if Severus Snape had become a beloved Headmaster. Do you believe the other professors would have followed his leadership? Nope. I think if this happened, not as many students would have been able to pass. They would have become like Neville and be intimidated so not to see their own potential if the other teachers treated them like Snape did. His methods were a bit harsh. What if.... What if every time Voldemort created his Horcrux, that he never did change physically? Meaning, he never physically mutilated himself to where he lost his nose, hair and mind with each one?

I had always thought of the saying; "Beauty is skin deep but UGLY is to the bone." I think this was the entire premise JK Rowling had transforming Tom Riddle both physically and spiritually. What if Tonks had not been killed during the Battle along with Remus.. Do you believe that they would have moved in with Andromeda?

I'll bet they would have. I really wished someone would have raised him instead of JKR making him like Harry... having to live with relatives. Still, at least he had good family to rely on. I think it would have been fun to see how much Tonks would have influenced her son had she been there for him the whole time.

What if Harry Potter had not seen his own image during the attack on Sirius in PoA?

I've often wondered about that. I mean, at first thought, I would care to guess that he would not have had enough confidence within himself to pull off that charm to work so perfectly. But then I wondered. I go back and forth on this idea. I just don't know.

What if a fast food restaurant wished to move into Diagon Alley, do you believe the wizarding world would allow this?
(Duddahs does not really do fast food at all unless you consider Subway Tuna Grinders as fast food, then Duddahs is absolutely guilty).

Hmm? What's a "grinder"? What if... Sirius Black never went on the run right after he was proven innocent at the end of the third book?

A Grinder is a type and name of a sandwich made on a foot long roll, aka Grinder Roll also called a Hoagie in some places.
If you have ever gone to a Subway Sandwich Shop as most of you know Duddahs better and prettier half is the lead Attorney for this company, the foot long sandwich they make is also known as a Grinder. You may have other sandwich shops in your local area, another one is called Blimpies, we do not speak their name in Duddahs nest lest Jenn cut off Duddahs tail feathers in his sleep.

What if....
Tom Riddle was adopted by a wonderful little muggle family when he was a baby? One who would try to teach him love from the very moment they took him in his arms. One who would give him everything he missed while at the orphanage.

Nope, no Blimpies here, I'm a Subway fan all the way Duddahs.
What if Dudley found the Maurauder's Map in Harry's room?
