What if, when Harry was first trying to find platform 9 and three quarters, he met first Draco's family first and they helped him instead of the Weasleys helping him.

What If.
What if Harry had gone home to the Durselys during the Christmas Holiday instead of staying at Hogwarts? Do you believe he would have still gotten a sweater from Mrs. Weasley every Christmas?

Do you believe he would have still gotten a sweater from Mrs. Weasley every Christmas? I think so. She loved him enough to send a cake and other items for him for his birthdays. I think she would want to send her home made sweaters to him as well, knowing how the Dursley's are. |

Well, I think it would not have had time to ferment like it had when Ron got ahold of it. So, it would have worked as she hoped. Harry then most likely have gone to the party with her instead. Then this would mean that maybe Slughorn might have chosen to give Dumledore the bottle of alcohol at some point in time... OR not. BUt if he had, then the tower scene would not have happened. Nor would Harry have become the true owner of the Elder wand. So much would have gone wrong if things would not have happened in the way they would have happened. Wait.... would this mean that Voldemort might not have broken into Dumbledore's grave? Would the wand have chosen to allow Voldemort to become it's new owner? Wow Duddahs. THAT is an excellent question with so many changes to the story that I can't keep my mind from thinking of all of the differences it would have made. Wow. Cool.  |

I know I would have been sad for all of them.  What if.... All stories, no matter where they come from, that have wizards or magic within those stories, were all in a way connected to JKR's wizarding world?  |

What if when Hedwig stayed at the Burrow, she and Errol had mated and had babys and Harry was able to have a new owl who was Hedwig's daughter? I would love this.

Except I would hope the babies would at least fly more like Hedwig. I was always afraid to hear that Errol took one trip too many. But I always loved Hedwig''s personality. I've always wondered what Errol's would have been like if he was not so battered? |

I love that thought Fangsfan. It's not something that would be obtrusive, but instead very subtle. It would be a fun part to see happen. You know..... I don't know if I have ever told you this in all of the years you and I have known each other.... One of the reasons you caught my eye early on, over at the threads of the Book series boards, at the WB, was that you have a very unique point of view of the things of Harry Potter. A way of adding something fun and interesting that the the rest of the people never speak up and mention. Here my own thoughts about every detail I came across during my million times reading the HP books, my own mind goes in about a hundred different directions to the point that too often I can truthfully say, when others bring up a thought, that I once had that thought too... but not when you post. I love it. I think that is why I like reading your posts. It's so cool to look at things from a completely different angle like you do. Thanks for that. |
