What if..... Fred and George were NOT twins but that there was another one making them triplets? I asked my daughter what she would think the third one would be named. She said Bob. I just loved this post because my Dad's name was Bob. He had a great sense of humor and liked to play tricks sometimes and tell funny stories-so I think he would have gotten along great with Fred and George.

What if? What if Draco had not been present at Hagrid's first Care of Magical Creatures class?

Hmmmm, What if Xeno Lovegood had not worn the Deathly Hallows necklace to Bill and Fleurs wedding?

Hmmmm, What if Xeno Lovegood had not worn the Deathly Hallows necklace to Bill and Fleurs wedding? Oh my goodness.
You know, Ron should have gotten this on his own or should he. I mean, he grew up with the stories about the Rabbit and the Hopping Pot etc..... Wait. It was only in Dumbledore's copy that Hermione noticed the symbol. Ok forget I said anything.

What if Harry had not defeated the Dragon in the First Task? Do you believe he would have been allowed to continue on to the Second Task? Fleur Delacour did not complete the Second task yet she was allowed to continue to the Third Maze task.

But reading what you said about Fleur, I now think you'd probably get no or few points but stay in the competition and try to make it up on the next tasks.

What if Harry had taken Cedric up on his offer to take the cup and Harry had gone on to the graveyard alone? If Cedric had lived, I think he would have been a wonderful addition to the fight against LV and the DE. And if Cedric had seen Harry get taken away by the cup/portkey, he would have probably said something to DD who would have then realized something was wrong.

Yeah, I think so too.
What if....
There was no Draco? Harry never would have had anyone to challenge him who was his own age. No one to tell him BEFORE the sorting, which house was what. Would Harry have been sorted into a different house? Na. I think he'd still made Gryffindor. Still, he never would have grown stronger throughout his school years in order to face all he had to face for the battle at the end.

Yes I think Draco is very important to the story, it adds so much to gave a good villain to antagonize the protagonist.

What if before assigning the prefects (book five) DD could have sent an owl to Harry explaining that the was appointing Ron instead of Harry and at least part of the reasons why?

Saw this on Facebook (I can't take credit for thinking of it) but it's a really good question. We all know that people can sleepwalk, and do other things in their sleep, that they can do in real life, that they aren't aware that they are ACTUALLY doing... What if wizards sleep-apperate?! Would they wind up in weird places? Could be dangerous! Lots of splinching in those cases, I would think!

What if Cedric Diggory had not been brought back with Harry?? Do you think anyone, even Dumbledore would have believed he had been killed by Voldemort?

What if.... There was no Wormtail? I wonder how the story would have played out then?

I believe that Voldemort would have coerced another week character to do his bidding. Wormtail was simply an available pawn. In all games of chess, there are more pawns than any other piece.

What if.....
There was no such thing as the Fidelius Charm? (OK I probably did not spell it properly.)
