It's been such a long summer, with no good tv shows on at all.
Can't wait till Survivor and so many other shows start back up. I hope this season will be a good one.

Not sure who I will root for until I actually see them in action. Don't like the younger comments during the promo though. Too cocky and to say that older people are brainwashed! Thems fightin words!

Ooo. I forgot to post that I saw a clip from the first episode coming up. Turns out for the first time in Survivor history.... .... they are going to have to evacuate the island. Looks like a bad storm is headed for the island. They've always toughed it out, but I'm guessing it's a hurricane or the like. What a first night. -------- I'm with you.... them's fighting words. I don't think they have a chance. LOL

I was ok with that person going home. There was one I wanted a little more, but they were pretty much even in my book.
Oh and that lady's eye looks horrible... both of them really. I hope she's ok.

I'm with you, and the eyes do not look good at all. She seems to be suffering from more than simple sand in her eyes, this could be an allergic reaction or a severe bacterial infection.

I'm also with you. At first, just because of my generation, I'm for that team. However, I still want to see how both teams play out. As you know, in the past, I've rooted for any age, depending upon how they play the game. I think it's cool it seems to be evening out. Two episodes, one from each tribe went home.

Another episode where I was perfectly ok with who went home.

I feel like a broken record. Or I feel like I sound like a broken record. Another week where I am perfectly ok with who went home. Oh and I'm glad that lady's eyes do look better. I've noticed they often do when she's at tribal, but when she's back at camp they get better or worse. Weird. I still don't have any favorites for the final three, nor whom I wish will outright win.

I totally agree with everything you just said Miss Charlotte.
I am not on board of too many right now but I have to say that the Gen X guy who is a Model is on the top of the list right now for Duddahs. He just seems to have some integrity and is very very good at challenges too.

That lady didn't believe them when they told her her name is on the chopping block. Boy does she owe them something for both saving her. Wake up calls are hard but better late than never.

She seemed like a nice person, but she just didn't appear to have the oomph to play the game. She was not good at games nor was she any good at trying to figure out a way to get together with anyone to form a strategy. To me, it was as if she was waiting to be voted off. You can't sit on your hiney in this game waiting for the game to come to you. Oh well. On with the next episode.

Yep, now that they have merged, things are getting bumpy in a hurry! I know... this season seems to be dragging by. I think the only person to be voted off so far was... Makayla, who I thought would go much further in the game. Still, it was a great blindside and good move to get rid of her already. She was a strong character who messed up by showing how smart she was. That did her in. I couldn't even follow her chesslike moves for thinking that far ahead. Still, onward we go.

WHOA! What the heck just happened? Will suddenly decides he deserves respect though he has won NOTHING and has done little to nothing to help his teams win! One earns respect, they do not deserve it. This is one of the biggest problems Duddahs has with the present generation of Millennial. We all came up in our generations, idealized, believing we could make the big changes, make the big moves, that the older generations had simply not enough knowledge, understanding or strength left to fight. As we grow older we learn one does not need to have a 12 cylinder engine to win a race. Experience, knowing when to hit the break, when to apply the gas is far more important than how many horses one has under the hood. This is the old tale of the Tortoise and the Hare. Ken is an idiot, once my favorite to win, now a bruised baby toe on the right foot of his tribe. His lame excuse of "Testing" Will appears to simply be a shallow cover up for the fact that he got his panties in a bunch when Will confided in him about what the others were planning. Ken simply could not keep his own foot out of his mouth. Yep, hoof in mouth disease for sure. Adam, poor Adam, he made two moves, both of which were wasted. He gave his advantage away when he had already received some good will for not using it in the family challenge. His obvious sob story of how he could not use it to take away someones loved one was too thinly veiled. He knew it was of no use during that challenge and when he was picked to go with the group of winners, he simply over played his hand. Duddahs knew the second that Adam gave away his immunity idol that he had simply been outed. Will had no intention of staying with the group of five after Ken had blown up his game. He would have never been trusted an d they would have said, OFF WITH HIS HEAD, the second one of their own was threatened with being a cast off. All right, Adam, I choose Adam right now. I believe he is going to play as hard as possible to help his family. It is a personal quest and one that will give him inner strength at times when his physical strength might simply not be enough to get him over the finish line.

You go guy! I do agree, he never did anything to earn any respect. He always sat there quietly. La dee da. I kind of wonder if he really thought stabbing his friend in the back (blindside him) would gain him that respect. Ugh. That's not respect, that proves he's a trader and not to be trusted. Know what makes me laugh? Not one vote for Ken for being so stupid? I agree with you about Ken. Boy did he shoot himself in the foot. I was yelling at the tv when he outed the plan to get out because I really wanted him out. So glad he went home anyway. LOL!!! When Adam started to ONCE AGAIN tell his story about his advantage, I started to roll my eyes, thinking, here we go again. But, he did surprise me and tell his brother (thus everyone watching) that he could not use it. I also think he threw that challenge to lose on purpose. I do agree, he still could have used it on a different challenge maybe to EAT! Ugh. However, I do wonder if he was thinking far ahead in the game to possibly gain votes from the person he gave his advantage to, in case he makes it to the final three. That's the only thing that makes sense to me right now. I have to think about who's left that I might choose to win.

LOL! Will got what was coming to him. He just thought so highly of himself and his game. All I kept yelling at the TV was, WHAT GAME?
I had just started to warm up to Jay but he looks to be the next on the chopping block. Lots of wins and he was closely tied to Will's game.
Right now, I like Adam and Jay but as I said, thinks Jay is not long for this game.

So do you think that from Ken's one mistake that he can't redeem himself? I'm still disappointed in him from two weeks ago, but if he doesn't make anymore mistakes, I'm thinking I still hope he might be for the win. I'm on the fence about Adam. He's definitely been playing the game. He's come up from the bottom back in the early days to where he is now. I also think he might make it to the final three. If they don't vote him out, he might actually win. I also feel bad for him because of his mother. I'm glad he's not using that to make other's vote for him. Jay's not either about his mother's health. My hubby made a comment... I can't remember what it was, but I had to tell him that many season's ago, there was a person telling everyone that they had a sister or wife (I can't remember what family member) who was going to die from cancer or some other horrible thing... just for the sympathy from other cast members. Turned out he never had a sister, much less knew anyone who had cancer. Ugh. The person wants to win for their own merit and not something like that so they can dedicate their gameplay after all was said and done TO that family member. Still, I'd rather one of these three guys OR Hannah would make it to the end. I like her. I know she's a ditz but she is playing the game too and not following/doing what others tell her unless she really feels like it's best for her game at that moment. She makes me smile, but she needs to put a comb through her hair. I bet she doesn't know how bad it is.

I have to say, I really liked this season a great deal. More of the players came across as good people than have in previous seasons.
Hannah had no chance in my opinion and I stand by my assertions regarding Ken's downfall.
I felt it would come down to Dave or Adam but when Ken flipped on Dave, it was a sealed deal in my mind.
I have not watched the reunion show, leaving that for tomorrow night.
Now off to bed, my head is hanging low and the winds are beginning to chill the house.
