Robert Hardy played the in-denial Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter films. "He's not back!" "He's Back!" were iconic lines that showed his denial right up until he saw Voldemort with his own eyes. He passed away August 3, 2017, at 91 years of age. i68.TP .com/347b4ig.jpg[/IMG] Some of his other films include: War and Remembrance,Sense and Sensibility, and Gulliver's Travels (1996)

So glad you posted this Erin, he was one of my favorites, especially in the old PBS tv series All Creatures Great and Small where he played Dr (veterian) Sigfried Farnon. Also loved Sense and Sensibility with Prof Trelawney! I was amazed to hear he was 91.

Duddahs was saddened to hear of his passing. His character was not sympathetic but his portrayal was spot on to the books. Duddahs especially remembers the scene with Harry and the Pea Soup.

Yeah, I agree. Plus I've seen the actor in so many things. He will be missed.
