-Our beloved Olivander, John Hurt passed away on January 27, 2017. While he admired great power, he also feared it, and knew that "the wand chooses the wizard." i64.TP .com/2zzqqg5.jpg[/IMG] Some of his other works include: A Man for All Seasons-1966, Watership Down-1978, The Lord of the Rings-1978, Alien-1979, The Elephant Man-1980, Nineteen-Eighty Four-1984, Contact-1997, Crime and Punishment-2002, Hellboy-2004, V for Vendetta-2006, Outlander-2008, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull-2008, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy-2011. He has 2 movies set to come out this year... That Good Night and My Name is Lenny (still filming, no news on if he finished filming his role).

Truly one of Duddahs favorite characters. His silver eyes will forever watch over us all.
RIP.

I've loved his films for over 30 years. May he rest in peace. ps. Thanks Erin for the heads up that this thread was already here.

He was a great actor, surprised to see how many of his films I've seen besides the HP ones.

One of Duddahs favorite roles performed by him was that of the voice of the dragon in the TV show Merlin. It was haunting.
