Well, Jenn sure ruffled ole Duddahs feathers again.
Now the ole bird has been sucked into watching the Tudor's on Netflix...
There are not going to be enough hours in the weekend for all of the shows that Miss Jenn has put onto the Que....
Oh woe is Duddahs~!
Good show though... Only 3 episodes in and already hooked.

WOW JB! That is some lineage you've got there... Duddahs was raised in a cave, under a rock and without indoor plumbing...

For those who have watched the TV show the Tudor's, don't you think that the actor who plays Anne Boleyn's father would have made a fantastic Severus Snape had Alan Rickman turned down the role?

Hey, duddahs, good one! i never gave much thought to the boleyn actor as snape...but indeed, i think he would! yeah, my lineage is very cool. thing is with british and european royals, they were mostly related in some form, so, in turn, i'm distantly related to them, too. what's really cool is that i found out that my ancestor catherine howard's mum was a culpepper, joyce culpepper, related to thomas. that is something i found out fairly recently. but it's just lineage and i'm a poor peasant just like most of us lol. just finished watching series 1 episode 6, very good programme so far! great acting and interesting storyline. *SPOILER* don't know much about catherine of aragon. but feel sorry for her, he's firting with anne right under her nose. henry's a pig and a hypocrite...what gets me is that he beheaded my ancestor for adultery, but the pig was doing the exact same thing!! good for him and no one else blergh lol )i know i'm not at that point yet (if catherine howard is even in this) i know some history. in his youth, henry was fit and athletic, but grew into a great fat tub hehe i do also know that out of all of his wives, he truly loved jane seymour, but she died.

really? 3 more episodes? that will be brilliant!! i thought the series wrapped up in 2010, at least that's what imdb said. ah, doesn't mean they are always right! thanks for the heads up, duddahs!!!!! i've been watching during the evenings, a great way to wind down! finished series 2 episode 5...the plot thickens lol SPOILERS: SERIES 2 anne had her 1st child, elizabeth 1 (who of course is another relative of mine, re: anne boleyn.) then the poor thing lost her 2nd child! what does henry do? cheats on her with a number of different women. i'd so love to kick henry in the bottom and hard!! ...and what a mess with the church and all, but that was henry's doing. i also know another historical fact: henry founded the anglican church. (he broke off from the catholic church.) i know a fair bit about my family history, my dad had told me a lot when i was 11, then i also did my own research. very interesting family history
