So I've been wondering about this "Create a Poll" button on the site and thought I'd try it out. So, my question is, what is your favourite Harry Potter Book? I too have been very curious as to how to set one up. If you like, I don't mind creating a whole section just for polls like this one. But for now, maybe we could just start out with yours right here to see how it turns out.  |

I've noticed that if you create a poll, you cannot vote in it for some weird reason.

Yeah, I wondered if you were going to vote in your own poll, when I noticed that I was the first to vote. Hmm? I know you also roleplay. Do you also use this sn when you do so? If you use a different one, then maybe try voting here with that one.  Also, I'm sure more people will vote when they see this thread. At the moment there is too much going on out there in the muggle world... vacations, work, internet troubles and family keeping us busy. You know how summers can be hectic for some of us. |

It might be a setting that I need to unclick... First, I decided to come on here under a different sn than the one I already used to vote with. WHen I got here as this one, I see NZ's first post (and our comments afterwards.) But first post scroll up ABOVE NZ's . You can see the choices you click on to make your vote, then of course click Submit. Voila! Hmm? It might still be a setting since both of these sn's I have used here are set as admin.... Be back again in a sec... I've got to go find my Winky....  The password. I have not used her in ages I hope she's not lost. |

I choose my option, but nothing happens when I press submit. I think I might have to try it on another computer.

Hmmmmm Duddahs tried it several times once on his laptop and once on his big box computer and the votes would not work for him...

ok...when I did it on my Dad's laptop, it worked. Erin Weird too... I thought I might have had something to click or unclick to make polls accessabile to all members.. I'm glad you posted this because really I can't find anything to click. SO.. Now two here have voted. I wonder if it's a setting you have on your computers? If we can't figure this out, then I'll go check the proboard site to see if they have encountered this before. I really do wish to get this going. It sounds like fun. I can already see it if we get enough threads/polls, we can call it "the ballet box"..... na, I'll have to come up with something Harry Potterish and have you guys VOTE on it. ;D Hmmm... surely it would not have anything to do with cookies being reset? Keep trying guys. |
